As far as the primer on top for blurring, I have used the Tatcha silk canvas and the RMS radiance, locking primer to smooth and blur.

breath of the wild is so fun. i also just ran away from fights. but i couldn’t make it past the first real boss person bc i have no coordination. but i loved those puzzles. and i loved that i was able to go into the water and have the fish suicide-jump onto land so i didn’t even have to do anything.

I got the Glow Recipe ceremide calming serum thingy as a gift and every time I use it I feel like I'm using play skin care. Like it's fake and for a child 😅. It's lovely but I also cannot take it seriously. Like hm yes this is all well and good but I'll need to put something real on as well 😂.

You just blew my mind with your BRILLIANT use of the Touche Eclat blur primer. I bought it some time ago and like it, in theory, but not as a primer. I can't wait to try this new method! Totally random unasked for info: I have five kids (& a step child & grandbaby) & learned after my first that eliminating nap time by age 3 was a MUST for my mental health. All of my kids (except the oldest because I let them nap til 5 yrs old) slept better at night & longer when I slowly stopped naps. Obviously all children are different, but mine all started to taper off napping around age 2-3 & started trying to nap later in the day which would then push bedtime by hoursssss. I clearly don't know your child, but just wanted to randomly say, prepare yourself for him outgrowing naps. Just know, he'll most likely go to bed earlier & more easily, & sleep through the night (if he doesn't already). Thanks so much for your thoughts on these products! I've definitely been interested in some of these. 🫶

I second this ! My kids did the same thing with wanting to nap LATER and I said “oh no” you’re just never going to sleep now and I’m losing my mind. lol People were shocked that my kids didn’t nap anymore so early on but I truly needed it for my mental health as well.

@@ashleymejia8971 yes! I learned after my first big time! I used to let them nap at least once a day (sometimes for as long as four hours) til aged five. They always slept horribly at night, didn't go to bed til after 9pm, & we just had so many sleep related issues. With my second I noticed they started to outgrow naps around aged two & if they wanted to nap, it was always after 3-4pm & then they couldn't settle down for bed time til after 9-10pm. So I became like a hawk & made sure no more napping (esp after 1pm) & if they did, it had to be early & short. They didn't like it. It took about two to three weeks but after that they always went to bed at 7pm & slept til 7am. Did the same with my subsequent three children & grandchild & it has been a life saver! 💖

I started this comment and then you popped in with editing kackie 😂 but for the crowd, the DM balm powder does that for me when used sparingly and tapped in with fingers. If used with a brush or sponge, it’s much more heavy duty. I have dry skin and love it (for anyone in the comments who may still be interested in trying it - I use the translucent one specifically). (Caveat/FWIW: I might actually have normal LEANING dry skin vs dry dry, but I don’t like most traditional powders, including the Kosas)

Love the video. K beauty does have mascaras that come in true brown colors, not sure if there are tubing formulas however. Thanks for reminding me about your Kackie lipliner. You know what niacinamide does for me? Causes painful cystic acne that has never happened before and only happens when I use any niacinamide containing product. Can’t even get away with a single application. I hate that it’s in everything now.

The Glow Recipe reminds me of the Westman Atelier liquid Superloaded in Soleil. I was supposedly the target for the Tilbury red brown mascara with my blonde mouse eyelashes and green blue eyes, but it could not have been more dreadful on me. I was shocked because I do love that kind of antique burgundy color as an eyeliner but for mascara, I need more of a neutral brown so as not to look like I am ill. It brought out my purple under eyes something awful.

I don’t like the Glow recipe bronze drops as much as drunk elephant or Westman A. They were a lot darker, and didn’t absorb for me as well. I think maybe for darker skin tone, or maybe summer, but not my favorite.
