I have a theory: This is a story (i refer to both songs) of a girl who has blood cancer (Leukemia). "I hide what I lack, this red color" "this vase is still colorless". I think the other girl (long haired) is the potagonist from the past, when she wasn't ill. Beacuse of strong medicine she can't recall any specific situation but she can only remember herself being happy and smiling. The long haired girl won't respond, this means she can retrive her full memories."I can no longer meet this person" - the illnes is incurable and she will never be able to be that happy girl again. "killing you, I will die too" - this proves they are the same person, and without any memories she will no longer be herself, it is the same as dying. at 5;30 am the painkillers, and other medicine stops working so she wakes up every day at that hour, and she's remembering her past self. She probaly can't accept her death, and she wakes up everyday and reffering to herself as a vase, she tells that she's still ill. About the lies, doctors probably don't want to tell her that she's dying, and she's probably also lying to herself that it's going to be fine, she can still be that long haired girl (offtop: i think that strange short hair of protagonist, it's a wig) "I'm looking at this you, I'm speaking of who's being carried" She thinks of her past self, but she's now ill and needs to be carried around. And for her there is no more happy days, she can only remember her being happy so she's sayng that the bright morning will come to her only in memories. And the rabbit it's Alice metaphor of her having little time. I think both songs happens in the same time, and in the end when they split their hands it means she can no longer remember anything or she died. (sorry if there are grammar mistakes )

if anyone is interested. One of the Hanakotoba (language of flowers) of the bougainvillea is "I have eyes for only you." According to google translate. However, more interestingly, あなたしか見えない is the exact definition I discovered. Now, I'm still learning Japanese, buuuttttt I'm pretty sure that literally translates to "you, only, cannot see." which parallels the line sung earlier in the song. Which was translated as"I can't see" (Though the "I" is implied)

I understand how people think this is related to bipolar disorder, but it doesn't seem that way to me at all. She's referring to the "other" her as a completely separate person. She talks about how this other part of her is boasting while she's sitting there sulking and feeling depressed. It seems as if the song is referring to two separate entities. It's far more likely she has a dissociative disorder, (split personality) such as DID or DDNOS.

i think this might be about differences in grown ups and children? because one of them is wearing heels and the other is wearing plain shoes, and the hair cut seems more work oriented verses the free length smiley girl (her eyes seem more clouded or 'innocent'). "when will I become a flower(often symbolizes maturity) and part of that rotten tree (adults/death?)" but the pv suggests hospitalization- so like most people gathered, i'm guessing her split personality is that of her past- maybe she's been hospitalized since childhood or something around those lines. actually, what if this was something completely different than bi polarity? i mean her scrubs might even suggest that of a pregnant woman? i know it sounds really odd, but this "woman" also said "Somehow I'm looking at this you I'm speaking of who's being carried around" and "If it all ends while I'm still stuck in the night, it will come a bright morning for you instead" we can see someone's organs with X's which probably means failure to function- .. plus from Isolation Ward we get a line "Your unceasing voice".. crying? maybe? i mean, flowers also produce seeds so.. /shrug
