What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for KZbin, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I loath games that give you a jet pack burst and then the speed drops when you stop thrusting. It should maintain the higher speed indefinitely. A pet peeve.

space and asteroids are not that closely cluttered. and it's not hazy unless there's atmosphere. and everything in space are not uniformly staying in place.

A cool save system for this game would be if you go to a “checkpoint” that creates a tether , and if you feel like your not going to make it , you push the button and it drags you back in .. the timing would be cool management addition

You missed the 2 bedside tables in that first location unless you got them off Camera but there are lightbulbs in one, also you missed the Quest as there was an Airlock you use the key in just above the floating room you died in look for the airlock on the side of 2 corridors.

This looks a bit like Breathedge and Subnautica combined. Breathedge was brilliant, great sound track and humour. SUbnautica is still one of my fave games ever.

But my only thing I would like to see in the future is playing a new game without spending time on it before hand..with respect I feel more in tune with your content when it's new for you and us at the same time🙏 like the audience comes along for the ride as you discover all the tutorial stuff, and I recognize that the tutorial stuff isn't too compelling to most. your going to love the little spaceship you get to make or the space bike ....... BTW make your own base now as it can have more storage and space for other Builds you're going to need. Make the BIG HABITAT Base FIRST takes less resources more cost affected Watching you I have seen another thing you should do. The battery and solar panels do NOT have to be on your base they can be away from it so you can build bigger and better just have to have a corridor to build on.

Just beyond and above the quest location there looks like a corridor with an airlock where you might be able to get O2. Game reminds me more of Breathedge than Subnautica but I like both so interested in your play

Yeah, if you look at your old habitat, you'd notice a comm panel that had these two missions. You actually did the Old Hub station when you looted that found station earlier. The Cap'n Matthews you did not do. (Rest their souls....) . jetpacks don't recharge, they upgrade. Next time, take multiple resources like O2 for over 300 M trips until you upgrade tyour tanks again, (and do take a detailed look at the o2 station upgrade info you got; it's very cool.) Edit: Whoops missed you already did part 2. Will leave this here but likely moot now.

Yep. Pretty much original Subnautica in outer space. The difference, I guess, is that in Subnautica there were places on land where you weren't in constant danger of drowning. But in outer space? Where can you go? You are always in Outerspace. Unless one of those bodies have some atmosphere somehow.

Glad I saw before I bought. Been waiting for a game like Hellion that does space survival correctly, but once again we get a game for toddlers.... Space Jam included, fixed orientation, no immersion with the forced perspective changes from 1p to 3p when using vehicles. Should be mandatory for every dev making a space game to learn how space works, and then play Hellion and figure out how it should be done. Most immersive space survival game ever made Hellion was, and nothing like it since. Sadly though it never made it out of EA.

I love Subnautica and I'm glad they just literally copied it and tossed it into space, only issue I see is Subnautica was absolutely beautiful and I'm not a big ocean guy, but it was gorgeous. For this one it's hard to make space look beautiful. I'll give this one a try just because of how heavy it pulls from Subnautica.
