It’s pretty good and I think I laughed way more in the dubbed version than the subbed. With season 1 fully dubbed and them getting a better handle on their voices, it feels like it’s rising in craziness as the show goes on from season 1 to 2.

thats kind of an exaggeration, ghost stories was bad funny, this one is crazy funny. Like if you tried to watch Ghost Stories normally, there's still a lot of dead air between the highlights of the show. Kaguya's dub is good all throughout.

That and he's got a lot of experience doing crazy roles. Most recent ones would be Brook from One Piece, Space Dandy from Space Dandy, Whis from DBZ, Toriko from Toriko, and Magna from Black Clover and Shoji from MHA I'm a fan of his. Also he's a REALLY good singer. He's got that Elvis voice when he sings. Listen to his solo in Binks Brew it's really good.

I wish all dubs took more.chances and put their own mark or spin on it like why not ? Just putting english words over it with the only goal of not having people to read will give you something like demon slayers or konosuba that are just not only 1 to 1 copies they also dont sound like them or how most people imagine they would sound.. but with something like this even if it doesn't really sound like we thought its saying something completely different and brand new dialogue so we dont at least automatically compare it

I like how the narrator is aware of the absurdity of not only the romantic shenanigans, but also his own role (i.e. he gets carried away, he has favourite characters etc.). Each to their own, of course, but I love it when the fourth wall is messed with successfully - something Ian Sinclair pulls off wonderfully in this dub.
