I'm not really into the whole streamer scene so I know little about Kai Cenat. But after watching the footage from others reporting on it, I do agree someone should've put a stop to the whole thing the moment this "magician" put the noose over his head. Yet at the same time I can't 100% in good conscience agree with banning Kai over this. He no doubt thought there was no way dude would actually let himself be hung on livestream, and I imagine everyone there thought the same. Sounds like this guy did this purely to try and ruin Kai's career, and I'd rather not see someone that petty win. I can be argued down to a suspension, sure. But not a full ban. All that said...this "trick" from the get go is disturbing. Someone really should've stopped this before it even started.

Honestly, magicians are known for pulling horribly dangerous stunts like this all the time. There was literally a guy who pretended to get shoved in a woodchipper live on national TV once, with gore splattering from the chipper and all. Kai just let the magician do what magicians do, especially now that it's come out that this was intentional on Max's part, he shouldn't be punished for the actions of someone else, especially since that sets a dangerous precedent for Streamers in general that other people can get you punished for rules *they* break. Kai was honestly very reasonable here, getting the cameras down the moment it became clear what was going on, and officially banning anyone who could pull a similar trick from his streams again.

What makes it worse is the people praying on Kai's downfall are shouting their brainrot takes along the lines that they 'kidnapped' the guy by forcing him upstairs. What people seem to ignore is he said himself he never felt threatened nor in danger so he's not a victim and a case couldn't be made. The only victim here is Kai himself whose career is in jeopardy from a moron choosing to "prank" him by almost perishing live on camera out of pettiness. I'm not personally a big fan of Kai but that's just because his content isn't really my style beyond a few points.
