Kai always tries to wear hats for dance practices, sometimes just to hide his hair color for a comeback, but mostly because he's shy. He doesn't make direct eye contact 😅 he controls each move in the mirror right in front of him 😊. The 3 cuts at the end show pretty well how humble he is: this perfectionist who is never satisfied with his performance wants us to know he's not perfect though, just a human being who tries to do his best all the time but sometimes fails (and EXO-L know how many times he felt embarrassed, incompetent or a failure because he's just a man but Jongin always goes hard on himself and sets his own bar so high whilst forgiving others for being human)
