no its not like that... what Sugita means is among his Disgusting otaku friends, there's one Otaku who also good at sport, get a girlfriend, and finally got married... so that friend can be said a Otaku who succeded in life while the other Otakus just remain single while shouting anime characters as their waifu, they think its unfair because their hobbies is same but he got girlfriend while the others dont. to understand better watch anime Grand Blue, you will understand how otakus relationship. they insult each other but still best buddies, just like Sugita and his friends.
