KAILAS FUGA YAO First Run & First Impressions Review. Over the last 6 months or so we've tested out quite a few trail running shoes from the Kailas line up. I've been pretty impressed with all of them but the stand out shoe so far for me is their brilliant FUGA EX 2. It's such a comfortable versatile trail running shoe and this model actually made it into my TOP 5 Running Shoes of 2022. However, today we are taking a look at a brand new hybrid running shoe from Kailas, the FUGA YAO. It's been designed to cross over sections of tarmac and dry gravelly trails, so I thought I'd head up country and take them for a spin on the perfect testing ground.

I love the outtakes - always makes me 😊. I think the Fuga Yao is interesting for cross over use but most runners will have specific road & trail shoes so not quite sure if there is going to be huge demand?

I barely got any serious trails nearby. But we do got some roguo gravel sections closeby so a shoe like this one would defintly be interesting for me. Alot of my runs are on mixed terrain. I do got a wider foot so this one in particular wouldnt be a good fit

Those lugs look very small, not really seeing where you would use them as a road shoe would have more comfort. Haven’t been to Padstow in so long, a pint in a harbour pub sounds great. Glad you both had a nice time.

Which type of kailas trail running shoes are the most versatile, like all rounder or daily trainer? For example in hoka, like the speedgoat, The middle class of the line up.

I would say the Fuga EX 2 is the most versatile trail shoe in their line up. It's a really good alrounder and one of my favourite shoes to run in! I've got a couple of videos on the channel featuring the Fuga EX2. Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏😊 Loyd
