Is there anything else you check when you have it all apart and other than being better quality is there any difference between the USA made ones and the overseas stuff?

Anytime I Jack it up I check the wheel bearings, and all the steering components. I also grease everything when the wheels are off. I’ve only ever run crown spring or oem so I can’t really comment on how these will work until I put some miles on them. The fit and finish does look much better than the import springs I’ve used in the past. Stay tuned for more updates. 👍

Does that left hand thread apply to a 71 cj5? Or just older jeeps? How is the ride afterwards?

Does this help with the “death wobble”?

Death wobble is generally a combination of worn steering parts. Suspension can definitely add to that issue but it’s generally fixed via addressing neglected steering components 👍
