Kaitlin Armstrong's Defense Tries to Make Mockery of State’s Case in Scorned Lover Murder Trial

In closing arguments, the defense team for Kaitlin Armstrong worked to poke holes in the state’s theory that Armstrong was a scorned lover who killed her boyfriend’s former fling during a fit of rage. “She’s not a jealous psycho killer,” defense attorney Geoffrey Puryear told jurors. Investigators believe Armstrong killed Anna Moriah "Mo" Wilson then took off to Costa Rica where she colored her hair, chopped it off, then got $6,000 of plastic surgery in an effort to change her appearance.
