The other vessels couldn't escape through the sealed door from where the Hollow Knight left, so they most likely went through Deepnest, with the vast majority of them being captured by Nosk, although some outliers, such as the Knight and the Broken Vessel escaped Deepnest alive.

This is why I love the modded community. When we all first saw someone speed through the path of pain we though it looked rediculous and impossible. But now if anyone here has done the path of pain you know you can do it in like 5 min or less now bc of the memorization thats been drilled into your mind. This challenge is insane, and doing it nohit will no doubt be extremely challenging, but for now it remains quite possible
