In Gundam they do stuff a little backward. Instead of iterating on a base design, they make the best possible unit and work backwards from there to mass produce it, which doesn’t necessarily make sense in the real world. You’d want to put the best stuff on your production units as well. In real life, the gundam would be impossible to use that extensively due to the lack of spare parts and other logistical issues in running the thing. Plus the idea of one unit coming out on top in multiple enemy engagements where it’s completely outnumbered head to head also makes no sense.

There was a 2nd Phenex built far into the future of UC so there are technically 4 Unicorns. The CAMS-RX0 G-Phenex was a silver Phenex that appeared in the OVA 'Gundam Reconguista in G: From the Past to the Future'. @@davidvasquez08 G-Reco takes place during the "Regild Century" era, which is a relative far future to the Universal Century era (the main Gundam timeline). More specifically, the events of the G-Reco series take place in the year 1014 of the Regild Century timeline. There is some debate as to whether the Regild Century era occurs before or after the Correct Century era (the timeline for Turn-A Gundam). This is relevant because animated works have pointed to the Correct Century era being a point at which all Gundam timelines (at least, all of the ones produced prior to the production of Turn-A Gundam) converge. Additionally, one recent animated work, "Light of Life: Chronicle U.C." indicates that the multiple eras/timelines are the result of a cyclic near-extinction event in which the Turn-A Gundam seemingly spontaneously activates, resets civilization to an essentially pre-industrial state by using its Moonlight Butterfly system to destroy all modern high technology, and then reburies itself, leaving the survivors and their descendants to rebuild over the course of centuries/millennia (including eventually redeveloping variations of MS technology) before doing it again.

Their remains were loaded onto White Base, and after it reached Jaburo, they were cobbled together into the RX-78-3.

Actually, they were. In addition, the Rx-78-1 and Rx-78-3 were not built from destroyed units. The design is compact, F91 is only 15 meters tall compared to the average 18 meters mobile suits usually are, and has no wings but can fly, making it a real hard target to hit. Vulcan canons on the head plus the gaus canon on the chest provide balistics weapons, with a beam rifle, beam bazooka to cover energy weaponry and two beam sabers and beam shield emiters for close combat, it can take on a wide variety of enemies. But, on top of that, it has the two VSBR pod on its back which are just over-powered! In the Cross-bone gundam manga, the Crossbone Unit 1 takes on a F91 and when shot at with a VSBR, it needed to throw two enemy mobile suits, two shield emiters, two beam sabers and still couldn't block the shot. Those weapons are insane! If I can't have the F91, the Murasame is a good second choice since it's already my favorite grunt unit. Third choice would be the Airmaster. I like that it's jet mode nose cone doesn't become a shield like most transforming Gundams so there's no risk of loosing that key feature. It's got good armament for medium to long range but its weakeness is no close range or melee weaponry. Which is why it's my third choice.

My personal favorite is the Gundam Mark 2, it was the first one from the Zeta series I ever built ( yeah I’m older) from the 80 s .

In my novel there were enough blueprints for 16 Gundam Units! Only 12 were developed in secret on a reportedly abandoned Earth, while ONI got the other 4, using Unit 13 as the base for their own Mobile Suit armada the data for which eventually went into the X Series of prototypes and the other 3 being given to Martian forces to combat the people who were sent to pick up the Gundams originally but decided it best they be kept out of ONI's hands! Like, "are you going to give us what are, I should point out, OUR weapons?" "Nope! We don't trust you!" "Fine, we'll jus destroy you then!"

Honestly if it was me I'd have a fleet of every Gundam so it depends on the day I can pilot a different Gundam everyday. As long as they don't have the saikamu system or any of the other systems that drive you completely mad or absorb you

So the guy who uses the Astray Turn Red basically. Buy off a buncha different mobile suits and stuff AI into them to make your own gundam team

Just thought I'd throw a few more uc ms that i think were produced in "some" numbers, f90: 3 units, heavy gundam: 3-4 units, and one ms that is technically a gundam, zeta plus (all variants): ~20-30 units

In a fan timeline of mine, I've got the Oni Gundam, made for a faction's supersoldiers. The frame itself can be adjusted to match the body size of the pilots, the smallest being 20 meters.

Also, the one unit Banagher received could be a brand new one, as Yazan Gable got an AE made GUNDAM MKII which is identical to the original ones Titans produced back to U.C.0087 in MSV-R manga at U.C. 0090

I wanna say that unit 2 was in North America because in the recently released gundam game Code Fairy, you face off against a pilot named Lilith Aidan piloting a pixy. Later on in the game she (the pixy) is upgraded and given better armor and quite a few weapons including a twin beam spear, 2 beam sabers, and a beam gun, but the beam daggers were taken away.

While it'd be nice for my ego to pilot one of the cooler gundams, I acknowledge that I am a massive coward and would definitely choose the Nether Gundam given all options. There's no getting around that I could still die to the Devil Gundam when it takes over Neo Japan, but I'll just keep at a safe distance and throw... wind at it?

What about Blue Destiny and the Riders? There's actually 6 RX-0, but only 3 were produced.
@emperorskulls10 ай бұрын
This happened much later after Kakarot197 made this video, but the RX-79-2 was literally mass-produced in Despair Memory Gundam Sequel and won a war. Then they were all smelted down into slag after the war.

I will say that in my Turn A Gundam fan fic all mass produced Gundam that survived to the end of their series ( the universal century, G Gundam, and Gundam X) are all possibilities of becoming mass produced Gundams in Turn A Gundam. ( My main character pilots a Gundam F91). Also even though it is not called a gundam the Jack edge from Gundam age I do consider a mass produced Gundam.

i actually enjoy NT-1 / Alex the most out of the one year war era machines due to its relatively balanced Physical and Beam weapon loadout. it's the same reason why i enjoy using Hi-Nu. they are my primary suits when i play Gundam Assault Survive. btw... did you just miss the Zeta Plus?

The Gundam Marine type does show up in Gundam Katana - It's destroyed off-panel by a Zaku. You see it prior to deployment by the Titans, then the wreckage afterwards. Never knew about the multiple Destiny Impulses, anyone know what happened to them? (I'm assuming its something to do with the Astray manga)

Well considering that the phenex cannonically has the tail things on its armed armour DE's this probably means that the silver one could be a unit 4 (also can we just address how confusing the name RX0 is, it was developed much closer to uc100 and the whole la+ system was incorporated into one of them and was even redundant after episode 2 for any reason other than banager having a tantrum(
