Ideas... How about accessing "Railway Herald" Rail tours site. This will give you some idea of railway tours in the UK and includes Scotland. Tours include Forth William, and Mallaig, Inverness, Kyle of Lochalsh and of course Edinburgh itself. Good luck with this. It might give you some inspiration.

Nice upload Kakibot. I know Abbeyhill well. 2 Of my Auntie's lived there all their lives and also i used to deliver to Sainsburys there. It's actually an area that hasn't changed all that much over many years. Angelos Fish and Chip shop in the area was always good when i visited my Aunty at Lochend over many many years. Stevie in Fife.

If you come to Paisley looking for local history, I *highly* recommend visiting the Sma' Shot cottages and the Abbey. Both are within 10 mins of the museum and the invigilators are very friendly and insightful. Food 46 and Nomads also have gorgeous coffee and bakes....

Hi, just discovered your channel & still exploring your videos. Love it! Perfect timing to prep for my Sept 2025 visit to Glasgow, Inverness & Edinburgh. Appreciate your tips & guidance. Any suggestions on accommodation? Adore your cafe & restaurant food recommendations. Best Pubs? Keep up the fabulous work 😊

I’d love to make a little pub tour video sometime soon! ♥️ glad you’re enjoying the vids and that you’re finding them helpful!! Accommodation wise, that’s a bit tricky - September is still a pretty high season but should be better than August when it comes to prices and availability. I think considering airbnbs outside of immediate city centre is always fun, Bruntsfield, Stockbridge, even Leith walk to get a taste of “neighbourhood life”!

Hi! Been watching for a few years- always look forward to your vids!Was wondering if you could do more videos on moving to Scotland for people who are not students. I’ve watched your other videos about moving to Scotland, but would love to know more about how families immigrate there or any big hurdles people face when becoming a Scottish citizen. Thanks! 🫶🏻🏴

Funnily enough we are contemplating moving house (still in Scotland) so we can certainly consider this for a future video!

That would actually be really cool! @@simonmountney. I'm moving to Scotland from Australia around June on a work visa, so that would definitely be helpful if you guys get one done before then. 😃

Ooft Shinty! That’s an insanely violent game if ever I’ve seen one! I still remember watching a game in the Highlands, the motto for one of the teams written on their flag was ‘come hither sons of dogs and get flesh!’ 😂
@phaid19 сағат бұрын
I wonder what team that is. That phrase is actually the traditional battle cry of the clan Cameron. I’m guessing they’re from the Fort William / Loch Eil area which is Cameron country.
@loxley758 сағат бұрын
@@phaid1oh wow I didn’t know that, it was near Fort William round the Invergarry area.

Nice video! Would you consider doing a video about accessibility in Edinburgh? I’ve been there before, but not injured and I might not be 100% back to normal by the time I visit. Just general physical access to things. Thanks!

Any idea of target date or month that Inverness Castle will open? I've gone to the website but no information given. I'm visiting Scotland end of June to mid July.
