Shinbu1128 They kinda dropped the ball with a bunch of side quests/old characters. I greatly enjoy the third game, sucky ending aside, but it definitely wasn't the best of the trilogy. That honor, without question, goes to the second game. ME2 was almost perfect, the only thing that would have improved it was if they hadn't given into social pressure and removed the gay/lesbian options from the game. They had nearly all of the dialogue recorded and coded into the game for FemShep/Tali before they stopped due to public backlash against the gay romance in the first one. They regretted it afterwards and so gave us the dlc with Liara and full on gay characters in the third one, at least, though

+Harindra Vidyatilake It's not emotional, it was just bad writers having no idea how to write something emotional - so they try manipulating you into feeling saddness (because humans aparently do not have any emotions beside anger, saddness, fear and love) the only way they knew how - by killing off characters. THE ONLY deaths that I think were written well enough were that of Mordin, Thane (both of them were already near death anyway - Mordin is very old and Thane is terminally ill and both of them sought retribution for deeds done prior) and Legion (even though they fucked in his death the whole motivation, goal and character development of the true geth!).

He was KIA along with his squad to give time for evacuating allied forces. You know, the same thing that happens to pretty much most of the misc characters you kept alive in ME2.

The entire ME3 should have been fleshed out more in terms of storytelling. It would've been great if after you deal with Rannoch and the genophage, you get treated to an epic cutscene showing the situation on Palaven/Menae, and that what occurs depends on your previous actions. Like, if you cure the genophage with Wrex and Bakara, keep Reegar alive in ME2 and establish geth-quarian peace, the battle situation looks much better, kinda like the final battle scenes on Earth. And that's just one of the things that could've been fleshed out. What happened to Harbinger? What's going on with the salarians after you get Eve? Why can't we get side missions on the different homeworlds? How is Rannoch doing after the geth-quarian conflict? Why couldn't Legion survive, come back as a Prime unit, and assume a leadership role similar to Wrex? Things like that.

I listened to an interview where someone asked Goerge R.R. Martin if he'd change the ending of Game of Thrones is someone guessed it or it got leaked somewhow. He said, no, of course not. He said that people HAD guessed it correctly, because he'd been laying down clues and hints the whole story. Because that's how a good story works. And that if he changed that and wrote a new ending just because he wanted it to be a surprise, it would be rubbish, because it would seem to have come out of nowhere. And that's the biggest reason the whole Starchild thing sucks. It was completely out of the blue. They should have stuck with the story that they'd set up. Because they'd set it up. Any other ending, no matter how well written, would still have been sub-par because of that. The fact it was terribly written just made it worse.

Usually, for every color, there's a default shade, a brighter shade, a darker shade and a chrome-variant. This appears to be a chrome-y golden color.

Kal'Reegar is really cool. He is one of my favorite secondary character with Aria and Chakwas. I always choose the "Rally the crownd" option in Tali's trial just to hear him. He would have deserved better than just a stupid secondary role and an e-mail saying that he was dead. In the meantime James Vega pop-up from nowhere and become an important character while we never knew him (I take him and EDI with me during the last mission in case he die and not someone else)

@PinguKrueger It's part of the mystery of ME2. By "aquiring" the sqaud members from the later missions (Tali and Legion) you'll find that the makers of ME2 gave them dialog for those sections even though it is impossible to get them. You can hear Legion and Tali both make unique dialogue before going into the quarantine zone for Mordin's recruitment mission. Strange isn't it?
