Kale PopCorn Sweet Potato Chips Airfried in Philips Smart Sensing Air Fryer XXL + Light Snack Kit

Airfrying Kale chips, sweet potato chips and popcorn in the Philips Airfryer XXL Digital HD9861/99 with Smart Sensing Technology. Time and Temp below. I am also using the Philips Light Snack Kit to prevent the ingredients from frying and touching the heating element. Healthy crispy snack in minutes.
This will certainly be a crowd pleaser over the upcoming festive period.

Airfried Kale Chips
Ingredients:
150gm of kale (washed and dried)
1 tbsp of olive oil
Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Toss kale to coat with olive oil
2. Even out in air fryer basket and cover with Philips light snack kit
3. Air fry at 160ºC / 320ºF for 7 minutes
4. Salt to taste

Enjoy delicious crispy kale chips
Airfried Sweet Potato Chips
Ingredients:
150gm of sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced ( - 2mm)
1.5 tbsp of oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Soak sliced sweet potatoes in water for 30 minutes
2. Drained and pat dry with paper towel
3. In a mixing bowl, add sweet potatoes, oil, salt and pepper. Toss to coat
4. Even out in Airfryer batter and cover with Philips light snack kit
5. Air fry at 150ºC / 300ºF for 13 minutes
6. Shake basket several times in between
7. Air fry at 180ºC / 355ºF for 4-6 minutes
Enjoy delicious crispy sweet potato chips

Airfried popcorn
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of corn kernel
Directions:
1. Even out corn kernel is air fryer basket and cover with Philips light snack kit
2. Air fry at 200ºC / 390ºF for 8 minutes
3. Shake basket several times in between
Remove and season to your liking and enjoy delicious crispy popcorn

I had an "old" Philips air fryer for years (the "dial" one, non XL/XXL) and finally got the latest XXL Premium model this month (same as yours but white with sensor functions). The accessories make it extra fun and I've got most of them now. Not tried the light snack maker one yet but those sweet potato chips look awesome. I presume you could do normal potato or banana chips a similar way? Also, your recipes are legitimately better promotion for Philips than their dodgy app or their own "recipe books" (I was gutted that the ones that come with each accessory have a whopping ONE recipe each, and the official cookbook is all in US measurements with no pictures). Philips should hire you for their PR, no joke.

You definitely can do this with the Philips XXL ... The main difference between the models are the smart chef program. Set the time and temp as noted and should work out for you as well.
