Kale Rogers Talks Spyce Kitchen: The First Automated Restaurant

$10,000 Lemelson-MIT "Eat it!" Undergraduate Team Winners, Kale Rogers, Michael Farid, Braden Knight and Luke Schlueter from MIT developed the Spyce Kitchen, which cooks and serves meals from fresh ingredients in less than five minutes with absolutely no human involvement. Kale describes the invention and its future possibilities to an audience of high school inventors at EurekaFest 2016.

The right approach is to scale all that 'robotic kitchen' apparatus (the Bowlton Robotic Kitchen & Spyce) down to half the actual normal 'kitchen room' so it does fit into a normal habitable facility (house or appartment). After a century of stagnation, genuine progress ought to be made (innovation; inspiration).

Should be miniaturized and scaled (100 cookers, 20+ different food hoppers), and make real food instead of hipster foods. Meat, potatoes, rice, noodles/pasta, vegetables. 100% recycled bowls. Should cost closer to $2 each, not $7.50.
