This beautiful song just about made my heart burst and tears were streaming down my face the first time I heard it. My beautiful boy is currently in EOD special forces in the Air Force. His pain has been my pain. His triumphs have been my triumphs. His loss, my loss. My son has been tested in ways most people could never imagine let alone go through and has grieved over fallen comrades. I think the pain runs deeper losing young friends to suicide because of the strain our young military men/women experience. I pray, I believe my son will never lose his heart of gold. We all suffer. We all face loss and pain. We all search our souls and question if we have the strength to continue. This song explores those depths.
