Everybody is free to organize a meeting. For peace, this one was meaningless from the outset. So, it was probably more like a war meeting, sharply contrasting with the words spoken. Just watch their hands and do not get deluded by words. With French and Canadian troops fighting in Ukraine, next to the mercenaries from all over the west, reality shows.

I like the way President Ruto represents Kenya abroad. He looks presentable. He is well outspoken. His language structure is well arranged. If Odinga was the president could he have been this organised at his age. You cannot make out his speech and yet he wants to rule the country. Kenyans need to be alert when it comes to choosing leaders. Choose wisely and don’t embarrass yourselves.

To me it looks like fun making gathering and total waste of tax payers' money. Myself having been deeply involved in conflict resolution and peace building, I can't at all undetstand how can you have a peace summit with only one side in the conflict being represented? It is more a fundraising and support building gathering( not a summit) for Ukraine. To call it a peace summit, both sides in the war must be present.
