There was something to seeing Kris reading to the baby that was the cutest thing I've seen in this channel, I felt happy and peaceful at the same time. I also appreciate that Kris talked to the baby as a grown person; that is how babies best learn language during what is known as the critical period for language. Yes! This was so hilarious, relatable and adorable! Kris in that excited and nervous state throughout, because small kids add that randomness and it's a new life she's taking care of! Jessica's camerawork is quite good, with the added commentary and responses she gets out of Kris just elevates the whole experience! Baby's mother is such a gem throughout! So chill and understanding, while Kris tries everything to get the baby to laugh! Likewise with the baby, she's the picture perfect example of babies on a good day and I hope she's just as little fuzz in the daily life. All in all it literally made me laugh crying with some aww's in-between. Brilliant idea, amazing group and so much mellow entertainment! Keep being awesome All, take care and stay safe!

(that ball is great for developing her motor skills, and Elmo's soft fabric is comforting for her) Funny voices to listen to. Floor time to explore a little. (the water thingy may have been a bit too new for her, but I'm sure she'll love it when she figures out how to play with it) Comfort when she was scared and sad (to her, it's the worst feeling ever, so comforting tells her her feelings are valid, and that she's safe with you) You also did great with the diaper, btw. A lot of people panic, which doesn't help at all. But you stayed (relatively) calm, even when you felt like you messed up. You're a great babysitter, and who knows, maybe you'll even be a mom yourself one day (which I'm sure you'd be great at too)

I breastfed my son for between 11 and 13 months - I was aiming for 12 but it was 32 years ago and I forget exactly! 😹😹😹 But really, I was pretty discrete when it was in public - it wasn't HEY LOOK AT ME I'M BREASTFEEDING!! I'd pull a shawl over us so no one could see. I was poor at the time and couldn't afford to buy formula - although I would have done it anyway because I think it's healthy for the baby. The point being, it's a normal, healthy part of the development of a baby. Stop sexualizing it and accept it as a goid thing!!

We just had our first 2 months ago. Newborns are simple, they sleep and they eat. You got this! Meal prep and freeze those meals, deep clean the house before baby.. it made things so much easier. Also, going through labor is so exhausting and the hormone shift after makes us mamas so emotionally vulnerable and honestly, really forgetful and dumb sometimes lmao be kind and have Patience for the three of you.. it goes so fast.

Having a parent with ADHD is honestly amazing from experience. Kids are like information sponges and always excited by new things. My dad had adhd and was an engineer and blacksmith, and his workshop at home was amazing for my friends and I as a kid, just endlessly entertaining.

I have so much respect for mothers like you. Unfortunately, I was unable to breastfeed with my daughter. I found out I was pregnant right as covid was getting started. I'm also an Army combat veteran, I served in Iraq in 2008, going to boot camp right after graduating high school (2007), only 17 years old. I mention that to say I am now with the Veterans Affairs Hospital, have been since 2013. So I found out I'm pregnant, and I was never given an appointment to see an OBGYN until I was around 5 months. This is because of covid and the VA. So my daughter was born 2 months early and was in the NICU for the first month of her life in a town almost 2 hours away. We couldn't stay at the hospital, and we were promised a room at the Ronald Mcdonald house but then denied it when we arrived. Anyways, sorry for the long rant. My point is that it still breaks my heart. I was never able to breastfeed. So I bless those who can. God bless you and everyone reading this. ❤

Can I just say THANK YOU for promoting the naturalness of breastfeeding in this video as much as the majority of people know that doing this is just a muma feeding her bubba there are still people who need to be hit by a brick with their reactions/opinions to public breastfeeding and in my opinion there is nothing more beautiful than seeing a mother bonding with her baby while breastfeeding the love that pours from a mother's face in these moments are magical x Also if you had carried on with happy happy baby you would've had her laughing !! Xxx

@@Grizzloxmodesty for who exactly? Also she was partially covered. Not all babies like to be muffled under a blanket and even a thin muslin gets very stuffy fast, I would always try to cover up in public and my son would get pissed and rip off the blanket asap
