16:00 OK, that kid needs a therapist NOW. That is NOT normal behavior, at all. I mean, I could see dropping a big rock on a frog, because frogs are gross, but also small, like a big bug, & less sentient, but that's it. Stabbing another kid, hurting a cat, all of that on top of the other stuff, that's incredibly disturbing. - - There's a clear & severe lack of empathy & compassion within that child, & at 6 y/o no less. That's extremely worrisome.

I stood too close to him in line in the 3rd grade and he hauled his foot back and kicked me in my ACL as hard as he could. That was the first time I wanted to fight someone. He also beat a teacher with his fists in like 7th or 8th grade and we all stared in horror but none of us knew how to react since we were like 13-14. Not a doctor or anything but I’m an AP psychology student- it sounds like signs of the kid possibly having antisocial personality disorder. It’s something typically common within males (not always!) and shows at a younger age in life, and a lot of younger individuals who do it do have a tendency to harm animals and not feel remorse for what they do (and the same applies to what they do to actual humans) so kinda hope that kid gets tested to see if he might possibly have something like that based on what the DSM-5 states as symptoms.

When they're 6 they still have a good change with intervention. It won't create capacity for empathy, but they can learn how to get their anger out in a way that won't put them in jail. They can learn to use manipulation in a suitable career, to convince people to volunteer the things they want. Untreated kids with his problems have terrible prospects in life. Prison, addiction, depression and poverty. This mom chooses to fuck over her child so she can feel like a good mother in a happy healthy family.

@@cats1970 Lol, they either go to prison, become scientists, or become corporate executives. I read a study that spoke about brain scans conducted on known diagnosed psychopaths. It found that there is a physiological difference between those brains that were certifiably psychotic, and those that were considered "normal," and while it did find that a healthy proportion of candidates did manifest their psychopathy violently, there was also a portion of the test cases that become corporate executives. What was even more interesting, is the scientist who conducted the research, had his own brain scanned and his brain had the same physiological abnormalities as the test cases. The difference they concluded, between the doctor, and those who became violent, was the fact that most of the test cases came from abusive homes, or had great tragedies befall them to set them off on destructive tangents. The doctor, however, had been raised in a loving, supportive environment, and had strong family ties. Just one more bit of evidence that our DNA is not the root of our behavior, its the environment we grow up in.

Look, the thing about RING cameras is that they're there for protection. Nobody is sitting there in the evening combing through their doorbell footage for no reason just to be a creep. They're only looked at when something happens. If there's a camera facing your door, you're also essentially protected, as long as the neighbor who's camera it is is cool and would be willing to let you check the footage if something happened to your place. It's not creepy to have a neighbor have a camera on their front door.

I feel like it's pretty fair to request the camera not facing directly to the front of their apartment. The side mount really fixes that issue without anyone having to compromise though. No reason for the neighbor to act this way honestly.

So from what I remember from a while back the issue was people started using Uber over emergency services in order to save money. The issue is that puts the risk and liability on the Uber driver. If the passengers condition worsens, or worse they die, the driver is stuck and could get sued and all sorts of stuff. Just sharing what I vaguely remember! Hope the move goes well!!

3:44 The op is definitely not the A-hole, the girlfriend though is as she refused to get an Uber, which would have taken her there as she's not being sick or in high active labour (someone who is dilated enough to push, or their water hasn't broken yet which could cause permanent stains and funky smells), she doesn't have a licence to drive, nor would she be in any fit state to drive with damage to her ankle, plus she's not insured on his vehicle. So she had three options that were safe to do: 1. Wait for him to sober up enough to drive. 2. Call an Uber. 3. Call an ambulance.

17:12 it happens often with people you love, they look over their wrong doings because they love them and think they can do no wrong, like with serial killers family's.
