Which is the best plank position for back pain? Should you even do planks when you are suffering from back pain?
Well, the answer is... in this video! :)
I had someone leave a comment under my popular Back Care video that planks are not good for back pain... well, that's incorrect and I wanted to set the record straight with this video!
Back pain doesn't just happen without reason. It often is the result of an imbalance in the body caused by a combination of the following: a lack of core strength, tight muscles especially around the legs and hips, a lack of stability and postural issues.
Planks can help with some of these underlying reasons - but it's all about control and technique.
