Kalorik Maxx died in use and will not turn back on troubleshooting and repair Part 2

My Kalorik Maxx quit working while in use. Completely died. No power anywhere. No panel lights, nothing. In this video I finish up the repair. If you missed part 1 please go check it out before this one. Thanks.

Thank you for your video. I didnt have the solder gun so I used some butt connectors. Success. I'd rather solder so the sheath would go over repair like yours did. I had to cut the sheath and tape it back together with electrical tape. Most important, wife is happy.

Great video. Wonderful advice and instruction. My Kalorik uses Fuse # RY184C - Haven't found a replacement yet. Can we replace this thermal fuse with a new fuse-type coupling unit which allows for easier replacement?

I would have liked to see a ground to the appliances cabinet. Do you have any idea why isn't there one?

I have a question. When I am soldering it do I cut the gold piece that are holding the wires under the plastic together or just the replacing part?

You never solder a thermal fuse as it will change the temp on when it shuts off also if it gets to hot it could melt solder and cause a fire . Use crimp on connectors.

What fuse did you use? I can’t seem to find the TF184, I can only find SF184 on Amazon. Will they work or does it have to be the TF? Where can I find them? Thanks so much!
