I've got 18 x 9.5 ET 18 fronts with 235 tyres. And 18 x 10.5 ET 24 rears with 255 tyres. Car is lowered on coilovers and natural camber on front end tucks the fonts in perfect without any mods other than removing arch liner. Rear however I rolled the arches ( not pulled), but it will catch on bumpy roads with rear passengers. I'm thinking of getting rear camber arms, so interested to see if you can make the rears fully tuck. Also are you sure yours are 18s, not 19s? Those front wheels look very tight in the arch compared to mine. Although mine is a 2+2, but think the front end is the same as 2+0.

Maybe a 40 or 35 series sidewall can help it out. Personally I loved the meaty look it had with the rpf1s. If you could get money from these and buy some polished equips that would go hard

Your Z looks dope. When I had my 300 Zx twin turbo, I put 20 inches all around. Had the same problem with the rear rubbing and peeling rubber from sitting too low. Eventually, I removed them and sold the car.

I would try to move them on and use the cash for the GTR, cool video and a great effort to make them fit. RP01 and RPF1 do look incredible on the Z. Trading them up again might even be an idea, see how far you get. 👌✌️

I can see this a "face on top" kind of design. When you swap the tyres, check if the two barrels are welded. If they are, you can just pop the faces out, powder coat them if you need and polish the barrels without airing out the tyres or breaking down the wheel.

I'm having a brain fart if to get a Z31 or Z32. IMO they both nailed the decades perfectly for the appearance and performance of that era and far exceeded everything else as far as I'm concerned. It's builds like this that make me want a Z32 but I also love the sharp angles and design on the Z31. Damnit!!!! KEEP THOSE WHEELS!

These are exact wheel specs for my z32 except i run a 245/40/18 on the rear. When I originally had 225/35/18 on the fronts, both got bent bad on uk roads and had to repair and decided to upp the size.

I couldn’t agree more with u. I never understood why people didn’t see its potential back then and now. It comes with good engine specs for its times and its internal are already designed for turbo application so going bigger isn’t too much of a problem compared to other engines of its time, not to mention the exhaust tone sounds better than a r34 in my opinion 😅

@@sbperformance7320 mainly comes down to checking the engine bay and asking oneself: "Inline 6 or 4 in a engine bay with room to work with vs quad cam twin turbo v6 with very little to none inside said bay?". This is coming from a guy who owns a Z32 and is the reason mine is going NA-T and making it as roomy and easy enough as humanely possible to do any service towards that vehicle without having to practically remove just about everything to gain access.

The whites look way better than what you had going on before. I'm not sure what got you into those, but... and for the size, they look flush. I think it's fitting the car better than smaller rims. You were definitely rocking the "space ship" look with the wheels tucked into the fender. I wasn't a fan of that and much prefer tires at least sticking out an inch or two. And just to state, I'm NOT into stance. BUT this is far from stance. Ok... as I continue the video, why are you trying to bring the wheel into the fender? I don't get it. Is it rubbing? If not, there's no reason to tuck them in, they look ugly when you hide them in the well.
