It was more of an interview than a documentary, but it was interesting anyways.
@Tirrell255 жыл бұрын
listen to what he says at 4:35 .this is only way to reach the masses through music ,because the majority of people dont want 100% conscious rap because they dont have the patience to think. but if you can make it fun ,or make them dance with a nice beat,maybe they can get a hidden gem here and there. tupac mastered this format and even nipsey hussle used it. all three of these men despite their mistake in life are more intelligent then their music shows. but they all had a goal to reach the masses and not just the intellectual.thats how you nourish the lost souls without just focusing on the intellectuals.
I watched/read an interview whee you said you and cube did a remix to whoop whoop. Do you still have this track?

During the time of this documentary I had to be anywhere from 13 to 15 years old. I'm assuming it's from the early to mid 90s. I see why they blackballed KAM. He is trying to lead us in the right direction with his music. When I think of RAKIM I think of KAM. STREET ORIENTED. BUT RIGHTEOUS. ✌🏾
