I'm a Hispanic woman raised with different backgrounds. But I tell you this much. I love Black American culture. Our ancestors are black as well they migrated to our country from Africa you are Strong minded, brave, courages, kind, loving, caring. And very strong when it comes to Righteousness and unfairness 💪 I could never ever put myself in your shoes because you have been thru alot of horrible situations and still standing stronger then ever. ❤❤❤

@@lindathomas5500Good afternoon Linda. This is an example of interviewing a witness for 45 minutes. And then using 3-4 minutes of the interview in a film. There are a dozen of these interviews on You Tube. They are all the same. We just see the finished product of polished 3-4 minute clips from hours and hours of interviews. ___________________________ For 9 years, a very young Keith Beauchamp interviewed dozens of people, just like this, and wrote, produce, and directed the film; _"The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till"_ As a result of Beauchamp's investigation, the FBI reopened the case of Emmett Till in 2004. ______________________________ Beauchamp wrote and produced the movie _"TILL"_

I agree you’re speaking to a gentleman that 18 years old did one of the most bravest and most dangerous things of his life. Something seasoned older men adults with life experience would be afraid to do. You’re calling him dude !!! Asking questions of judgment asking him once he didn’t do anything??!!! he did absolutely everything he tried to do more before then he would’ve been tortured and found dead in that river as well. You also ask him questions and then interrupt him and your questions were all over the place. Jumping the subject back-and-forth back-and-forth back-and-forth very unorganized. You should’ve seen this as a privilege to interview this gentleman with respect, politeness and manners, just simple, general manners.

I wish the interviewer would’ve asked the important pertinent questions. So many missing details. What time in the morning was Willie walking? Maime mentioned in another video that Willie peeked in the barn and saw what was happening. Willie also testified in court that he saw them loading a body in a truck. Not ONE of those details were asked. HORRIBLE interviewer!

Man. I've studied this story since 7th grade. I had dreams before the series and movie was ever considered being written. I have so many questions from hundreds of POVs. Yet I hear in my head.. Emmett is dead, they're all dead. Leave well enough alone. I knew the black man's grandson...the black man that helped kidnap Emmett. I'll never forget what he said and confirmed. He did not have a choice. He did what his master told him. We were talking about our grandparents and he told me that. I just ask was he proud of his granddaddy 😔 and never spoke to him again.

I’m sorry, but the person asking these questions should find a different line of work, because it seems to me he’s never known what a person sounds like when they cry out when being beaten. Does he not believe this happened? Because, the condition of that kids body bore signs of extreme torture, and the interviewer is asking what Emmit Till said while crying out. I found the line of questioning to be more in line with the murderer’s defense team than someone trying to give this gentleman Mr Reed, a voice

You were in polite and professional you were unorganized, and you tried to place judgment on him or insinuate that he should’ve done more at this young man he possibly could do how do you even try to intervene or do more he would’ve been tortured killed and found in that river along with Emmett Till. This gentleman is a hero and became a hero at 18 years old and left a whole life behind to do it. And you’re referring to him as dude ??? interview any individual? They’re not subjects the persons that deserve to be interviewed and addressed with respect because remember they don’t have to be granting you that interview.

I don't think Emmett was the only one making remarks that day. I kinda feel like he took the wrap. Cuz how wheeler knew but didn't tell Emmett how to behave?? If Emmett was so carefree why didn't they keep a closer eye on him. Who dared him knowing talking to they white lady could get him killed. If they were scared enough to jump out the car why didn't they tell the uncle/grandfather? Why no one noticed Emmett energy changed after that night? He wasn't scared? By wheeler was? Why when Ruthie mae warned them and told the uncle why didn't they hide Emmett till he could get out of Mississippi? Why nobody took the warning seriously? Why did they only want Emmett and believe he was the only one flirting out of a gang of young men? He wasn't the only kid from Chicago? It's so many questions...smh Emmett could have been saved! If wheeler knew how serious it was in Mississippi? Why didn't he say we need to tell a adult? He knew the severity of the situation and didn't say anything as long as they wasn't looking for him?? When one race of peopke self determine they are superior to another then criminal acts abound. I was raised by a black lady and she was special. My mother was a little hard on her at times but never in front of my father. Florie Belle was the most special ever in in formative years, being raised in the south, my father was a career military man and we lived everywhere but ordinarily in the south. My parents were born and raised in South Georgia, but my father did not have an evil racist bone in his body, my mother was raised differently but she was not openly racist but she had her moments. I also have my moments but not racial in nature but watching our young people bait each other. I doubt that the evil racism will ever go away. We just have to try to be good humans and respect each other and respect others.
