I appreciate that my friend. I have been going through some life issues this past 6 months, but good news, I am filming a new video today. Should be out tomorrow or Monday.

@@GrillinandChillinwithColeman sorry to hear that. Push through and God is still answering prayer. I just lost my mom to cancer in last August . She was my best friend and I still tear up all the time. But I know I will see her resurrection morning in that new body cancer free. Hang in there your a Coleman! ☺️ sometimes life issues really just drives up closer to the man upstairs 👍🏽 Take you time I will get that bell 🛎 notification when u post again. Hang in there.

@@bronxchick2997 I agree 100%! The message today at church was about the life of Joseph in Genesis, and the trials he endured. He never took his eyes off of God. We could all learn a lot from his example.

Great Info,. I love my Kamado, it's been great for both smoking and a fantastic grill👍🏼🇺🇸🔥

I was reluctant to purchase my KJ at first, but have not regretted it since. I guess my only regret was not building in into my outdoor kitchen instead of my gas grill. Thanks for watching my friend.

@@GrillinandChillinwithColeman that's great to have an outdoor kitchen,. My stuff all remains portable for catering and local events. I'm planning on getting a new trailer smoker for comps next spring, my steel Kamado has been a great add for small events and even better for just doing burgers at home. Nothing like the flavor of burgers over coals🔥👋🏼🇺🇸. I appreciate you channel and will be binging soon for video tips. Just got a Canon T5i and some lighting to try and up my video game😎

Great video! Two amazon prime free links in the description might help to remove one for space! And if my only criticism is on the description you're doing something right!

Thank you for the video! My question is how do you manage for long smoking hours? I do 6-8 or even 10 hours short ribs (some call it dino ribs). Do you replenish charcoal?
@GrillinandChillinwithColeman2 ай бұрын
@MarceloFeistauer great question! I find with my KJ, I get 20+ hours on one load of Lump Charcoal. That's smoking at 250°. I get much less time with briquettes.
@MarceloFeistauer2 ай бұрын
@@GrillinandChillinwithColeman do you put the entire lump charcoal bag?
@GrillinandChillinwithColeman2 ай бұрын
@MarceloFeistauer I just fill up the grill. I have the Big Joe, so it takes about 5-7 pounds.

Excellent! Now what about the guy that has a cheep grill with no temp gauge to monitor? UGH!
@heathpalmer42833 жыл бұрын
Buy a thermometer. There are cheap ones on Amazon that have 2 probes, a monitor outside that you plug the probes into and a separate unit to monitor temps from inside. One probe for the meat and the other to monitor your grill temp.

Great question Paul. I think Heath had a great suggestion. You can pick up an inexpensive monitor for under $50. Another suggestion in to install a temp gauge in your lid. You can pick up a gauge on Amazon for around $10, drill a hole, and put one in. BTW, thanks for the idea for an upcoming video.
