People cry regulatory capture whenever some AI company tries to talk about regulation, but when an actually important piece of legislation is presented, the one that would actually hold the AI companies accountable and put responsibility on them, people are all like "Well, maybe these companies are right to want no regulation"

There is a reason why AI companies are so against this bill, and its not because it is bad for consumers or citizens, its because its actually holds them responsible for once and they obviously wouldnt want that. If the Silicon Valley is against that regulation, then its mostly a stamp of approval. If these SV people had their way we'd be in a techno-feudalism.
