I really like your video, although Revice is currently my favorite series (For very personal reasons) it's impossible not to say that it has flaws, bad decisions and wasted opportunities, but still there is a certain quality and many things very well made. I'm happy to say that I also agree with many things you say, however I think that the real Revice's peak was in Volcano episodes (a shame you didn't mention them in the video) the hospital scene and the conclusion of the episode are the best that the series offered. PS: I'm sorry, but Mexican costumes wins

First, the Mexican costumes >>> That was dripping in sarcasm that might have not come through the video. The Weekend costumes were extremely boring to me, but for some reason early on when we got our first look at the Deadmans costumes there was a dull uproar about them on twitter that I thought was wild and wanted to have a laugh about a full year later because I'm petty. I did like the Volcano episodes, but I picked a few things to talk about since I was already 10 weeks behind schedule of posting this video, and didn't want it to be a comprehensive every single thing about the show. Because during the "Christmas Catalogue Collectathon" I didn't even talk about the first few Contract holders, but those were some of the better episodes. I briefly mentioned the one with Ikki, but Kong/Sabertiger/Planarian/Chameleon Vistamp users were all pretty good. I just think that the Genta/Matsumi episodes, and the Soccer episode were top notch in general. Edit: also didn't notice your pfp initially, based Zeronos👍

I really really liked large chunks of it, I just wish it was a bit more focused on certain portions of the story. The Soccer episode and the Genta/Matsumi stuff was genuinely top tier. I'm even willing to say Ninninger-Dad and Akaishi provided something genuinely great and unique to Revice. But the Deadmans stuff fell flat for me, and the Giff stuff just felt so damn underwhelming. I almost wish they would have cut the middle man and just had Akaishi as Giff.

3:30 I love those outfits, not problematic at all. If anything, I'm bummed they didn't do more with Mexican/Spanish culture.

Yeah in hindsight I didn't put enough sarcasm in that. As a person with a Hispanic background, I absolutely loved those costumes and wished they didn't hang them up for the boring Halloween colors.

I respected Revice for being an Anniversary Season, that aspect wasn't essential to the plot when compared to Decade & Zi-O. Also watching Revice was mainly to forget Saber existed.

You know, there is some respect to be given for that aspect even if I enjoyed Zi-O. It was a solid stand alone story. And yeah I didn't finish saber. Maybe one day

Revice has a good start. Strong world building and strong mystery. Then it fell down. Daiji being on the opponent side is fine but that fake "turning good again" moment and being done twice is just no. Also Giffu is just a straight up disappointment. I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in a much hyped up villain ever since Gamedeus. Final form debut is also disappointing. Destream debut is definitely the peak tho
