Puto Balanghoy
This puto is made from grated cassava roots mixed with grated coconut and sugar. Puto Balanghoy is cook in steam and it is filled with bukayo. You can also make different flavors to make this puto extra special.
Ingredients:
1kg cassava, grated
2 cups grated coconuts
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp Ube flavor
1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
Bukayo:
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups grated coconut
Additional filling:
Ube halaya
Chocolate filling
