Kamov Ka-52 Alligator In Action

The Kamov Ka-50, sometimes abbreviated simply as the Ka-50, is a single-seat Russian attack helicopter with twin propellers (coaxial rotors) of the Kamov Design Bureau, designed in the 1980s (1980). There is another two-seat model of the aircraft called the Kamov Ka-52 "Alligator", Russian: Аллигатор, NATO reporting name: Hokum B. It is equipped with a new radar system that allows detecting a target 35 km away. It is also equipped with new missiles, "Garmos", capable of destroying any armored target. The speed of the missile is 1 km per second. In addition, the helicopter was equipped with a quick-firing cannon similar to that installed on the BMP-3 vehicle. And enough 6-8 hits for its shell to destroy an enemy armored vehicle. It is not necessary to follow this process by the pilot, because this task is due to the self-guidance system in the cannon.

Thats one intimdating chopper. Saw interview of some US mercenary in Ukraine couple of months ago. This dude outright said if you have just one or two anti air gun. Its useless to shoot at his helicopter. He said you must shoot multiple people with anti air gun with spaces launches to get lucky. Love it or hate it. Truly a remarkable piece of technology.

I went through them one by one and saw this.: 1 was destroyed by non combat incident. 2 does not even show a clear photo of the serial number just for your infor. 3.was in fact destroyed but not confirmed if ukraine did it. NM 4 and 5 on the ground. 6. is unclear I mean even if this was a ukranian heli I would say the same not to be biased to one side. 7.is clearly a pilot error and a very cool shoot down by stugna atgm . so this classifies as pilot error not the chopper's fault. 8.does not confirm anything except some destoyed aircraft on the fields. 9 also by stugna due to extremely low altitude 10 does not confirm anything but a burning fireball 11. The helicopter's type is in dispute some claiming it to be an mi 8 and some claiming to be a ka 52. examine the footage and you won't even know if it is even russian. 12.was in fact destroyed by the ukranian military. 13 landed on the fields and there is a video of the helicopter continuing to fly with smoke from it's engine. 14 and 15 were damaged and abandoned 16 shows only a smoke plume with no evidence of what even happened. 17.was not destroyed only damaged with white smoke from the engine. and the pilot safely landed. 18.does not show a smoke plume or an explosion from the "crash" the heli actually descended to avoid further man pads. 19. and 20 both show an explosion and smoking craters but fail to verify ka 52 shootdowns and these are not my words here you go. twitter.com/UAWeapons/status/1576313385343279104 21 is confirmed. 22 IS UNFONFIRMED 23 and 24 were destroyed on ground. 25 resolution is too bad and cant be CONFIRMED 26.friendly fire 27shows nothing but a poster 28 and 29 were shot down. 30 hit electricity wires and crashed thus another pilot error. not the pilots fault the rest are either damaged or abandoned. So you could see the ukrainian military is only good at providing extremely low quality footage of destroyed aircraft and tanks. and russia does the same. if you go to ukrainian losses and inspect aircraft losses like su 27 you will see several of them unconfirmed. just go by yourself and inspect them 1 by 1. Please don't hate on the aircraft depending on what you see on media and what people show you. go and inspect ukrainian losses one by one and you will see the same results as for the apache, yes it is a perfect helicopter so what, tbh it really never fought any worthy opponent and even if russia infect lost 33 helis they would add a ton of experience. don't let your hate for the russian military and politics drive you. you drive yourself. I hate the us. Do I say they are incapable or that they are weak? NO this is a superpower that should not be underestimated same for russia. and yes ka 52 killed a lot of tanks in syria ( unarmed opponents) and ukraine ) you just don't see it because in the west youtube blocked all russian channels. bye. Prob they wont hit but as they know there are enemy forces ( radar 30km ) they might as well shoot like that when the distance is measured. Except US never ever use it against someone with AA/AD capabilities. UP: look up Oryx blog, found 34 losses, half of them on the ground by artillery, half of remaining - not confirmed (only stated by ukrainians with no evidence). Pretty good results IMHO.
