1:11:10 so ghungroos are basically anklets but they're a bit larger and are used in a type of Indian classical dance called Kathak. Payal are other anklets that are lighter and can be worn casually or there are others that are worn during special occasions etc. These are common across the country coming in various designs and shapes and different communities can where different types of anklets. Usually the women wear but there are some which are for the men as well.
