I’ve never been there but every time I watch someone in the Narrows I think “I am so glad they went and video-Ed so I don’t have to”. That does not look like my kind of hike. I am with Todd. I need it to have an end and a pay off. Also my kids would die of boredom long before the waterfall. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

We've been to Zion twice... Love the Narrows hike!! Some people prefer the Angel's Landing hike, but we're not fond of heights. (If you fall on the Angel's Landing hike, you die. If you fall on the Narrows hike, you get wet. ) 😁😂🤣

Yes, I am with Todd I would favor the first hike. But I hope to at least do the bike ride and the mile walk towards the Narrows. Beautiful scenery and such unusual hikes. Thanks for sharing and giving us the scoop. I also like snakes that are not poisonous. I have a couple of books on identifying snakes.. As usual , a very interesting and enjoyable video. Todd you did really good on these hikes. Safe travels

I’m with Sheila. Zion is my favorite National Park and Yosemite is a close second. I would Highly recommend hiking around Pinecrest Lake in California. The trail is called Pinecrest Lake Loop. It’s beautiful. You actually hike across a dam. Pinecrest Lake is about 80 from Yosemite. Loved this video. Safe travels

I hiked the narrows and you both are correct it's beautiful the whole way and crowded. The water was deeper at the time of year I went and I was out of shape and had a bum knee. Not even a quarter mile left, I was in so much pain, ankles, knee and worst of all my hips were screaming at me. I could not walk the next day. I'm in much better shape now and would do it all over again. Thanks for this video, it was nice to reminisce.
@lindabeaudoin83092 жыл бұрын
We hiked the Narrows and started super early in the morning so the crowds weren’t as bad but we definitely saw way more people on the way out. I agree to definitely rent the shoes, socks and we even got the “dry” pants and I did slip and fall at least twice that I remember. So I agree that it was definitely a bucket list hike and a must do! However, when we tried to go back and see other areas of the park the next day we couldn’t due to the crazy number of people and waits for the shuttle which is why I don’t rank Zion as one of my fave NP’s - maybe we need e-bikes the next time because the lines and shuttle crowds were just too much for us. The other hike looked great too but it wasn’t on my radar at the time and we had limited time for stops on our Grand Circle trip. Great video!

Oh my God! You guys crack me up! I’ve already forwarded this to several friends who extensively hike through Utah with their husbands. I told my & showed my husband and, I’m sorry I don’t know your names, But my husband is so the male of the couple & I am so the female. From Machu Picchu to the big hour on Hawaii I have said “oh let’s go up the bend a little bit more!” my husband dismay. I’ve also may be fibbed about the length of trails or distance to places to make him be more likely to go. Other times I made actual mistakes. It’s just so funny to see this in your relationship/experience hiking! ❤😂

Big hour = big island. And SHEILA! I am so you! You both had my family laughing out loud. We’ve watched this several times now. You gave us great ideas! I can’t remember where we were hiking but my husband thought I lied to him about the distance. But I got confused with miles & hours! Kinda like you were at the beginning of this video! “Did I say hours?” We both saw ourselves in you and our son agrees. Thank you!From watching it we ordered neoprene socks and trekking poles!!

I really liked zion but had a migraine when we went. I was getting out, throwing up and then go on a short hike. I was able to make the one mile hike to the narrows. Would have loved to do the narrows, but we went in February and it was too cold besides my migraine. Was proud of Todd for not complaining. I would be with Sheila when you came up on the snake. I hate snakes! Continue to have safe travels!🤗
