I just became an Olaplex fan and it’s the best thing I’ve done for my hair. My hair just feels balanced after using it. And the products are so concentrated that a little goes a long way and makes up for the small packaging. Go ahead and try other products, you won’t be disappointed! 💛

Using Olapex is probably the best decision I've made for my hair. Their strengthening conditioner is no joke. I had crazy postpartum shedding(helped restore my edges too) and that got my hair in order in less than a month. I like this new deep conditioner too. Their products are just easy. I'm over the long ass wash days honestly. Their products work and I'm deep conditioning for 10-15 tops and I go on with my day and my hair feels bomb.

Olaplex for the win every time I use them. Proud super fan of their entire line 0-8. Silicons serve a purpose and if you shampoo your hair, there should be no issue. But Olaplex products are a game changer for the overall health of hair. Great video per usual❤️❤️

I use the No. 3 after heat styling and love it. It is very concentrated so you don’t need a lot. I have DENSE hair and I can get three uses out of one bottle. The treatment leaves my hair very soft and strong even though it’s not a protein treatment. It also makes my coils super defined and springy.
@positive6473 жыл бұрын
You definitely should try the entire line. Yes, it is on the expensive side; however, you do not need to use every week unless your hair is very damaged. It helps repair the BONDS only. It is not a protein treatment, it is strictly a BOND TREATMENT. It helps especially if you mainupulate your hair often, and even if you don't, it helps with the enviornmental damage. Since Olaplex is very concentrated, you only need a little. With the No. 8, you do not need to use any heat. Let us know what you think of the other products if you decide to try them.

I can't use products with silicone in my hair consistently, but I can use them every once in a while. For that reason, I wouldn't buy any full size product with silicones but I'm down to use any sample sizes.
@kimmiegcrystal3 жыл бұрын
You can't even if you clarify your hair?
@mellisha97733 жыл бұрын
@@kimmiegcrystal No, even when I clarify my hair it doesn't make a difference. The first week I use a product with silicone the product works great, but as the weeks go on as I continue to use that product, the quality of the product goes down. And this always happens no matter what type of shampoo I use. (which is almost always one with sulfates whenever I use silicone products) But when I use products that don't use silicones this doesn't happen, the quality stays the same. In the event I want to straighten or blowout my hair I would probably use products with silicones because there are some good ones out there, but on a regular basis I try to avoid them.

Great video. I'd heard about this product, and hadn't given it a thought. Because I have super-fine hair, I have to be careful. I might give this a try, though, since it is for "all hair types". Using a little bit might help me get the moisture I need. Your hair did look rather juicy and soft. Thank you!

The product contains amino acids, proteins or the building blocks of proteins, which help the hair strands to hold onto moisture
@KandidKinks3 жыл бұрын
Olaplex said that its protein free on their Instagram when I checked just to be sure
@gemruby413 жыл бұрын
@@KandidKinks I don't know why they advertise it as protein free when it clearly has amino acids in the ingredient list. It will strengthen the hair as well as moisturize it.

Question...do you think your hair feel super great because of the dimethicone (silicone)..is it smoke and mirriors?
@KandidKinks3 жыл бұрын
I don’t really know to be honest. It def feels better than other silicone based conditioners I’ve used in the past. Silicones for me usually help with detangling, not really softness. But again I can’t really say yes or no to that. And it’s a great question
@melsofthestars3 жыл бұрын
I know for me the only thing silicones help with is shine and sometimes slip.
@avril.m.l3 жыл бұрын
I have 3B hair and super high porosity. My hair hates silicones unless it's straightened and this olaplex mask is the only thing that helped smoothed my rough cuticle. I'm sure the silicone is responsible but I think the way they formulated the mask is what's important.

No 3 gives what it’s supposed to give every time, but No 8 didn’t understand the assignment (in my opinion, for my 4C hair).
