Kandy Man, that is two fine examples of craftsmanship as well some cool Olds style. I build and paint too. I gotta admit, you got me glancing at 70-72 Cutlass’. I loved the way they drove...... the Olds Rockets ran pretty good too. Two beauties right there!

I really like the way the 442 came out. Looks wonderful. Now my question, I have a Pontiac Trans Am 455 Super Duty I need the body work done to. I've been unable to find someone to do the body work and paint to it. I have all the items it needs for a total restoration. I have these, the body items in original GM parts, from the time when the car was new. I have doubles of most of the parts.Quarters fenders doors and brightwork.is this something you'd be interested in doing. I can trailer it to you. Thank You for your time, really enjoy your videos.

OMG, Kandy Man, You're KILLING ME ! I had a 1964 original OLDS 442 (it was a BEAR) but had to get rid of it ! I'm in my 70's now and wish I still had that car and would have it repainted the Brandywine color You have - It's Gorgeous ! ... But also I gotta say that BOTH cars turned out Magnificent ! I'm betting the videos doesn't do the justice that live viewing would give - plus I know how good You are because DredFX talks about You !👍

Both cars look fantastic !!!!!! as a seasoned painter i much prefer the candy paintwork on your car but i can apprieciate trying to make a vehicle look original. I'm in the process off restoring a 1961 Lambretta scooter and going down the HOK route on the paint side . Great video 👍

You and the team did a fantastic job on the Cutlass 442 and it was great to see both of them together in the shop Kandy Man 2 beautiful cars nose to nose they are what I call real cars that have character and styling not like the modern euro boxes you see these days. I still prefer the look of yours Kandy Man but I think the interior in the 442 looks better with the single seats and centre consul, are the convertible roofs on those cars electric or manual opening🤔🙏👍John UK

Turned out absolutely amazing stunning work by you and the Mitchel team. I love the look of the 442 It would be cool to change the hood rear bumper and grill on your Cutlass Candy Man to make the car stand even more.

Watching this was a real treat for me. I watched the videos while you were painting the car as was getting ready to paint my Jeep at the time. I have owned a 72 Supreme convertible for 30 years that has 65k original miles. I recently retired and playing with it much more lately. I painted it in my garage in 1997 but probably should have left alone as had original paint at the time. It's paint code 65 that is a 72 only metalic orange. It still looks great but starting to show it's age. Mine was a 350 4bbl with buckets and console. I added a bunch of options like tilt, dual exhaust, disc brakes, power windows. Power trunk releaser and boxed rear control arms with sway bar. It's still a super original car. If I decide to do it again it will likely be in 442 trim.

Has nothing to do with a strike, it simply was no longer a standalone model in ‘72 so not a different VIN for the series. Beautiful!
