FYI...in the original comic story, they went back in time to find a cure for blindness, to help Ben's girlfriend Alicia. Kang hadn't been invented when this issue came out in the early 60s. ( Kang came a year later.) The "Celestial Madonna" story in 1975 revealed the history of Kang and Rama Tut. Marvel would later retcon the Thing's transformation back into Ben here, by having a time traveling Dr. Strange secretly intervene.

Fantastic Four in the '60s was done by Hanna-Barbera but the Marvel Superheroes and Spider-Man shows were done by Grantray Lawrence. Turner had the rights to most of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, including Fantastic Four, so those were mainstays on Cartoon Network in the '90s and boomerang in the 2000s. I grew up on all of those Hanna-Barbera action cartoons in the '90s on Cartoon Network's Super Adventures block. Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, birdman, Fantastic Four, Galaxy trio, Shazzan, Herculoids, etc. Good times. There was the ridiculous Hanna-Barbera "The Thing" cartoon from the '70s that most people like to forget. I don't think I knew the Spider-Man 60s cartoon existed until Disney put out the DVDs for Spider-Man 2 and then were airing some episodes on ABC Family. Marvel Superheroes episodes were on VHS in the 90s.

I loved the new ant man, I watched a less than stellar quality version of it, but nonetheless, I appreciated how it took the chance to remove itself from the greater universe in a sense, I loved the different lifeforms and didn’t think it was shoved in, nothing dragged and the humor wasn’t overbearing. I really liked this movie, I didn’t love it, but damn I really liked it.

My brother just recently watched the Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania in theaters and he gave the film 6/10. Most of the problem with the movie is the nonsensical plot and the cringe humor, especially the humor with MODOK. Not to mention how underwhelming Kang the Conqueror felt, Kang mentioned how he was so powerful that he could beat multiple Avengers, including Thor, from a different timeline but in the film he ended up being defeated by Ant-Man through Ants.
