I am still amazed at how, close up, it looks like an almost random use of color and texture... but take a step back and it captures the scene so accurately and artistically. Seeing a new video pop up in my feed always makes me smile.

Вода в окружении воды.. круги воды и за всеми кругами вода....))) Простор песка, залитого водой... пустыня воды.....)) Такие эпитеты от впечатления острова Кенгуру, дорогой Ричард! )) Вспомнился библейский текст с самых первых строк книги Бытия: Земля была безвидна и пуста и Божий Дух носился над водою... На острове Кенгуру носился Дух Ричарда в сотворчестве с Божественной Флорой, распространяя молекулы воды спиральностью излучения квантов и кварков, одаривая трансцендентной радостью весь мир..... 🙏🙏🙏💚💙💜 С благодарностью за твой релакс в живописи, прогулке у океана, отдыхе за чаем.... As for the painting being dumped by the wind, I think a plein air painter has not been properly initiated until this happens AND they show back up to paint again!😂😂😂 Perseverance of the elements makes you love it more Or walk away. G'day mate, caught the character of that bay nicely. My type of beach, no one around and lots of contrast elements to enjoy. That foreground sand/water and reflections is just perfect, I can imagine standing barefoot in it. Lovely wave action onto the beach. Once again, reminding myself of the deepening blue tones of the sky as it gets higher. Good depth of field here also gives the artistic eye something to think about and learn from. Nice catch by the way, disaster averted and painting saved. You have incorporated flies in some of your outback paintings but sand on this one may not have worked quite so well, especially in the sky. 😁Cheers mate, Rich

How'd you get rid of the flies that pestered you early on?

Richard, I am planning an order of Art Spectrum paints and I noticed there is both "Spectrum viridian(S1)" and "viridian (S4)". One is $40 and the other is $150!! I ordered the cheaper one last time (not knowing there were two) but which do you use? IF the expensive one is way better I would possibly try it but that is $$$. Thanks! Also trying to decide if the cartridges might be better than tins as I don't paint as often as you so they tend to dry out on the top.
