I think I am about to buy a 1.6 TCDi focus. I wish I could buy a triumph spitfire for 70 quid, like I did in 1971. Changing the clutch was so easy, the transmission tunnel was removeable, and all the bodywork forward of the windscreen hinged up out of the way. You would sit on a wheel whilst working on the engine. Doing a clutch change on the focus would nearly kill me, but I suppose it would make me stronger. You made it look easy Kevin, nice video, thank you.

That ain`t your first clutch job exacuted like a operation, Great stuff to watch. I have oil coming from my bell housing I only drips out after a drive and when its parked up I can see a drip or two, I think its a seal from the engine dripping it to where the fly wheel is, so I guess if i do the seal i might as well replace the clutch, Would this be the same procedure for a ford focus sport TDCI 1.6 2011

Great video but where did all of the clutch fluid go, alot seemed to be used to fill it, but the pipe was plugged on removal and lost very little.

It’s so comfortable., it’s got elastic at all the right places. So it’s snug but not tight. The material is like some sort of canvas. No wind gets through. It’s Russian military uniform. There’s different level. This one is a GORKA 4 Bars.

Hi there what is the gearbox fill procedure on this gearbox, i swapped a driveshaft and lost a bit of oil on the mrs car and cannot find any details to refill as im not 100% on which gearbox it is, but it looks identical to the box in this video, the only sticker i can see on the mrs gearbox is AV6R 7002 KG. Bit late to the party but if you do the bolts up evenly bit by bit it shouldn't self adjust itself. Worked for me oh, and the clutch guru Kev too.

La grasa que pones llamada goma roja es para frenos osea para el caliper o piston de frenos osea para sus juntas , es para contacto metal caucho, pues proteje al caucho, osea no esta hecha de petroleo,,,,debes poner otra grasa creo es la grafitada para el estriado donde va el collarin,,,

Rubber grease doesn’t disintegrate and stops metal oxidisation.

Nice job dude aint no fun on doing clutches on your back though haha I did a punto one other week and that was hard enough 😅 I prefer to do em on a 2 poster! Wouldn't stop me again to save a few quid. My missis 1.5 has the gearbox bolt that can't come out because of the dpf moutning bracket. It's the one that never goes back in . It goes in the over engineered box 😄

Buy a kit and you'll get the dual mass flywheel, slave cylinder , etc. If you fancy it you can change driveshaft seals too. One of mine leaked after and on a car that's done a few miles and years it can be pot luck if things seal the same once they go back.
