We need more of this goodness in our lives. I'm so happy to have been sucked into the Vtuber rabbit hole.

That kind of feels like the kind of birthday present your grandma would give you, and honestly that's really sweet; I'd love a gift like that. :3

This is so wholesome and everyday like, feels like a peek into a real life slice of life anime. Which is weird because it's real life but still anime girls.

That's the cutest gift I've ever heard of. These girls are really wholesome and make this world a slightly better place to live in.

i think someone somewhere said that that (grass) Kanji is shorthand for lots of wwwwww (looks like a field of grass?) and "w" is shorthand for lol. so when you see it it means they're laughing. Japanese streamer culture is interesting.

Huh. I thought it was because "kusa" means giggle. The kanji/word for grass is also "Kusa"

Dang I was watching that stream and saw the chat exploding but had no idea what they were talkign about 草ww Thank you for translating this!! Also why are they calling Kano "Shika-chan"?
@Keni1145 жыл бұрын
Kano's name is written 鹿乃 which reads as "of the deer(shika)." In reality, she's an utaite that became a professional singer, but she's never shown her face to the public. For streaming, she uses the image of a girl with little deer antlers. But for live appearances, she actually wears a full costume of her mascot Bambi-chan. Here's a video of when she showed up to announce her 3rd album: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYbIXpl9ebGBY9E

isn't Tsukon/Tsukomi better translated as "retort"? I'm not good in Japanese, but I think this is the first time I see it translated as Tease
@Keni1145 жыл бұрын
It’s more literal, but no one really uses “retort” in a casual conversation. It makes sense to me contextually to use “tease” because that’s the intention for retorting here. Tease is also just more commonly used in daily life.
