@@billybob9961 There's a new school of thought that believes Shakespeare was a biggot, class discriminatory or rascist or something like that, so they are shunning learning the theatrical acting classes of old, which is what made the best actors who specialized in theater. Even books which depicted ethnic groups in a stereotype of the time are blacklisted. Political correctness of the day is a big contribution to actors without real chops or character. It's like a dance choreographer ignoring Michael Jacksons contributions & dance moves because of his alleged moral weakness. Actors need to remember that performance no matter the character of the performer should be studied if their contributions were revolutionary at the time, regardless if they were unsavory characters in their personal lives. Am I tripping, or does this make sense?

Really interesting movie here! In fact, about that distinctive car crash sound (the one with a very unique glass shatter) heard at 6:06 (almost inaudible), 6:10, 8:06, 15:29, 25:19, 25:45, 25:54, (hardly audible), 26:48, 27:35, 28:52, and 1:16:42 Well, while there are many glass shattering/car crashing sound effects everywhere, this particular one is a very unique and special one, as well as one that I know better than you can imagine!! Why? Because that "glass shatter/car crash" sound effect is actually used as the primary car crash sound in the 1999 action driving video game "Driver: You Are The Wheelman". I have the PC Port, however. In fact, there's PLENTY I can tell you about this sound byte! It was used in MANY car chase movies of the 70s and 80s. So far, the following is all the titles I've actually found it in: 1. Vanishing Point (1971) 2. M*A*S*H (1972-1983) 3. The Poseidon Adventure (1972) 4. The Last American Hero (1973) 5. The Seven-Ups (1973) 6. 99 and 44/100% Dead (1974)(heard in trailer at least, I don't know if it's in the film itself or not) 7. The Towering Inferno (1974) 8. Race With The Devil (1975) 9. The French Connection II (1975) 10. The Kansas City Massacre (1975)(This film here). 11. Cannonball (1976) 12. Gator (1976) 13. Silver Streak (1976) 14. Smokey & the Bandit (1977)(heard in trailer but NOT the final film) 15. The Driver (1978) 16. Hooper (1978) 17. The Hunter (1980)(heard in trailer at least, I don't know if it's in the film itself or not) 18. Eyewitness (1981)(heard in trailer but NOT the final film) 19. Impulse (1984)(heard in trailer but NOT the final film) 20. The Terminator (1984)(ONLY in the original mono mix) 21. Commando (1985). 22. Mischief (1985) 23. Jumpin' Jack Flash (1986)(heard in trailer at least, I don't know if it's in the film itself or not) 24. Maximum Overdrive (1986)(heard in trailer at least, I don't know if it's in the film itself or not) Of these 23 titles, 15 of them are 20th Century Fox productions, which to me indicates that they are probably the company responsible for creating the sound byte. 10 of these titles have this sound effects guy who went by the name of Theodore Soderberg in the credits, making me believe that it was his sound. However, considering that nobody bothers to claim ownership of the sound byte, I simply took it upon myself to not only adopt it for my own sound effects library, but also to go ahead with utilizing it in my OWN movies, including my first full-length film, "Return of the Black Thrasher: The Movie" (2009)! I even have it as my default notification sound on my Android mobile phone! I swear to God that there's no better car crash sound effect than the sound byte I speak of. Even now, I'm STILL looking for this sound byte in other movies. I subscribed to you, by the way.

Cheapest sound effects ever. I've never heard a gun go literally pew, pew, pew. This movie is so historically inaccurate it's pathetic!!!

Actually the sound effects aren’t bad the pew pew your talking about is the sound of a ricochet which they are over playing it a bit but it does sound like that I thought it was cartoon bs till I shot a boulder one day and heard it

The train station is called union Station not union plaza station and the shoot out happened inside the train station not outside you can still see the bullet holes from the shoot out if you're from Kansas city you can tell this movie wasn't made in kansas city

$250,000.00 in 1933? Would be $1,450,141.18 by today's standards.

this movie reminds me so much of "Bloody Mama" with Shelley Winters and " Dillinger" with Warren Oates

At 35:34 you can see the images of two ghost like figures (women?) in the reflection of the rear car window. Can you see them? Very spooky.

Love a movie like this one. Has a riveting story line without a lot of senseless profanity and useless violence.
