YEARS later his girlfriend at the time admitted to myself and one of my relatives that she knew. That threw my mind into a whirlwind! Flashbacks of the beatings, sexual assaults, and the times (too many to count) that she laughed at my swollen face/black eyes, plus her slandering me to numerous people just made me feel as though I was being punched in the gut. But you know what?...I'm a survivor 💪💪 I'm also a proud Mommy and grandmother. If ANYONE reading this is being abused, go to your local authorities. Please don't suffer in fear and silence. I think a lot of the times the children also dont feel ready to talk. They were called on a friend's mother by their biological father and her 6 year old was to afraid of her father to speak about the situation and CPS told them not to force words out of her because that might make her choose a narrative to please her parents
@mamamarianovits90294 жыл бұрын
It also depends on the area where the particular child services agency operates. There are entire jurisdictions which are entirely corrupt, operating more as a child trafficking rings than that for the protection of children, overseeing children's homes, adoptions and foster parent situations. This may sound cynical, perhaps even too outlandish to be believed, but such is the way in some places.

They all turned against me couldn’t talk to my mom. When my mom found out she went with the guidance of her family and did not press charges. I was a prisoner. My aunt fought me while I was pregnant my dad took me to get an abrtion. No one saved me. No one helped me. I am now 36 and it makes me short of breath and still can not get over it! I agree with you 100% she is just as evil as he is. From watching the meeting you can clearly see that she has zero remorse. Saying that Chloe encouraged it and was the aggressor she is a sick pos and denying that she physically abused her shows she has no sympathy for what they put her through. This was her chance to apologize and show she at least was sorry for her part in the abuse but she is just a liar who is looking out for herself still to this day.

Is the counselor stupid or stupid? You don’t send a child back to a home where she is abused it only leads to this not once will it work
@nehemiahzo_4 жыл бұрын
Facts. That counselor is a fucking dunce.
@theadvocate27824 жыл бұрын
The counselor should have been told to keep the child at school until the child welfare worker could interview the child(ren) outside of the abusive environment. They should have placed all the kids outside of the home until a police investigated the claims of abuse. You don't simply interview the parents. The counselor should have called the police when the child didn't show up for school the next day. Everybody failed the children in this family! So glad she's choosing to live as a survivor, not a victim!

@Imperfection Perfected She clearly went to that interview thinking that she could blame it all on Chloe - thinking it'd her word against her ex-daughter's. It's funny how everytime Chloe brought out receipts to back up her claims, Pat either changed her story or tried to leave. She showed her narcissism most, though, with the line "we're not achieving what I want to achieve", as if she wasn't happy unless she looked good and got her own way - totally dismissing that she was clearly there to give Chloe answers.
