Hey young people, this is what real rock music sounds like.
@eser81672 ай бұрын
Trust me, older folks who heard Cyndi Lauper on the radio were saying that listening back to their favourites from the 40s in the early 80s when this came out. There is always amazing amazing music coming out, and very few of the true greats will make their way to you if you aren't involved with the culture around it, so all you are exposed to will be the lame, insufferable chart toppers that you are complaining about here. Though I will concede that algorithmic music recommendations have made this problem worse in the past decade. Everyone is just sort of locked into their personal worlds now, which makes it even harder for great stuff to hit it big.

I don't know if he's a Jesus-like type Christian with humility, as his songs on Mastedon's Lofcaudio and his singles work are an inspiration, but I hope and pray so. I don't see Christ in a lot of the fundamentalist and bigoted religious types, but when I find people who are as loving and humble as Christ, I see His love in motion!

Happy Birthday Kerry Livgren born on September 18, 1949. He is an American musician, best known as one of the founding members and primary songwriters for the American rock band Kansas. Livgren was a member of numerous bands in the late 1960's and early 1970's and quickly developed a reputation for complex compositions and poetic lyrics that explored spiritual themes. His investigations into various religions are reflected in the lyrics of his songs on Kansas' first six albums. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerry_Livgren
