Having to wear tennis shoes 👟 isn’t all that bad, at least they are not flip flops 🩴. We like the different camera shots that you do, that has to take some time to set up. My husband never wore shorts 🩳, to him that was only for school kids in gym class. So, I bought him a pair that he wears at home, but no where else. 😁 thank you for sharing your videos with us. Congrats on the 27.3 k 😊🐾🦮

I had to chuckle when you said "it was a tad bit windy" going across Kansas. For having lived here all my life, I've never known it to be a tad windy. It's either no wind or 100+ mph winds. Lol. Have a safe trip home.

Porter greetings! ✌️ Ramen noodles…YUM! We like them, too, but not ramen soup. Lol! I like a double portion of them myself.😍 Low traffic…I keep hearing that, and you mentioned it once before. But I’ve been hearing that there’s a driver shortage…maybe in certain areas. 😳 A map of your route…yeah, it might be good for those of us that might follow you along the route. I do that when I watch your videos sometimes, and I’m not familiar with those areas at all. Watching a sunrise through the windshield of a semi….OH, SWEET! I did that a few years ago with my oldest brother. We were driving into West Virginia from Ohio as the sun began to break into view. It was a WONDERFUL time of fellowship with my brother. We hadn’t been together in a truck like that in many years! Some good memories! It is true…You should always eat before you go to the grocery store. That works for the truck stop, too. I’ve never had that problem. Hey, was that a trucker wearing sandals into the store? Probably not. Those cravings can get ya. Happy Truckin!! 😎🇺🇸

Also, you said that guy mentioned something about a route map showing where you've been, and where you're going! Well I thought of something fun you could do, and actually you could make it very precise! Do you remember the road map that the Griswold used to plan out their trip in the first "National Lampoon's Vacation!"...🏡🚗🚙🤣😂 You could get Sara, and the kids to get on Google, and download something like that, and have a truck that looks like First Class driving from Point A to Point B, and you could even download the music to "Holiday Road!" I think that would be so cool, and fun too! I bet once all of you got into figuring it out, y'all would all love it, and I bet your subscribers would love it too!...😁😂🤣😅🤙👍

expecting real hot temps this week, ever over here near Chicago🔥 i found a nice pair of blue jeans short; fit just over the knee, possibly Walmart or Meier....WRANGLER Brand. If you had the machine to air dry /or slow smoked sliced up chuck roast, or you could make your own beef jerky. Buy the spices???? Fresh is better...Thanks for being you, and drivin that dog around the country, life would boring for that critter otherwise.🏪 God bless Mr. Schmidt😁🖐

I have made many "documentaries' of our travels and family events over the years. I only had an 8mm tape cameras, and a Magnavox DVD recorder with a cheap DVD player on top of it and a TV monitor. Very old school-- but I have some 300 DVD's of good memories. However, when I'm gone, I'm sure most of the DVD's will go too. For maps. I video taped a paper map, tracing the route and talking if needed. Then I just inserted that clip into the finished video. I'm sure with modern technology, it is simpler.

Your ramen noodles are killing me! Lol. I know you're a busy man, but man o' man! I dunno... lol I love ramen, but I make mine homemade. Broth and noodles. Homemade. Both can be frozen (separate) and cooked later. Then I toss in veggies and tofu. My orthopedic surgeon said I should be able to go back to work in October and I can't wait! I normally prep some breakfast burritos and breakfast sammies I can nuke in the truck. Then slow cooker something for dinner. (Beans and rice or some type of soup or chili. nothing is from a can it's all homemade) Lunch is just an easy vegetarian sammich and some veggies and fruit. Or a bean and cheese burrito I prepped at home. It's hard finding good vegetarian food out in the road. So I make all my own in the truck. Cheaper and healthier.

Two recommendations, one for you one for Opie. Most comfortable shorts I ever owned, Iron Co., get them at Sam’s Club. Soft, flexible and thy don’t bind. While you are at Sam’s pick Opie a club size bag of Pupperoni Sticks. My dog loved them. They look like Slim Jim’s, I’ve been tempted to try one, they smell like they could be tasty.

Hey, you are sitting a lot, and I am a little concerned about your diet choices. Lots of sugar and the noodles are really really high in sodium. Why don't you try low-sugar oatmeal instead of the sugary cereals. And frozen entrees maybe instead of the noodles. You take pride in the care you give your truck, now is time to put even more care into how you take care of yourself and stay healthy out there on the road and for your family. Fresh fruit, nuts, maybe even low sugar yogurts. Love your family Kurt, love the work you put into the videos. What you around for as long as you want to be out there.
