Kanto YU2 speakers: Unboxing & First impressions

After much deliberation, I finally decided to pick up the Kanto YU2 desktop speakers. Are these speakers still a great choice? Hopefully this unboxing, demo and first impressions video will help you decide if you’re on the fence about what to go for.

I mean they still sound good without a sub, well balanced. I still haven’t got round to hooking up my sub to these, need to soon!

Great video mate. Will be considering some desk speakers myself next year and these will definitely be on the list. Really not keen on that light though, not a dealbreaker, but what a bizarre design decision 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cheers chap! Exactly, it doesn't distract me when in use but just doesn't need to be there. Definitely add to the list though, they're great and I'm looking forward to trying them with a subwoofer too.

Im using razer nommo chroma , is it worth the upgrade for kanto yu2 ?

Hi! I’ve don’t have the Razer to compare so tricky to say. The YU2 paired with a subwoofer would be a great setup! Maybe not worth upgrading if you’re not going to add a subwoofer (at least at some point).

I do have one, just not felt the need to use it with these for my kind of use. I’ll have to do it at some point just to test it out.
