Huncho Vari well, Kanye wasn’t exactly a nobody at this time, he hasn’t released his own music, but he was producing hits for Jay Z along with other artists and soundtracks for movies like Brown Sugar. So yeah, after hearing what he has done with those projects, yes I would be excited to hear a Kanye album at that time.

@Chris Nichols Crop tops were actually more popular back in the 90's & Early 00's than they are nowadays. Especially at the peak of Britney Spears' career. I agree that fashion these days is really generic and cookie-cutter, but you forget that the 90's & 00's was when lots of brands copied Hilfiger, Carhartt, etc., and practically almost everyone in Chicago wore plain white tees & tanks with white Nikes or Jordan's. Fashion is definitely more bland nowadays though and very hipster-oriented.

The Polo dad hat and the Gucci joint GLC had on were the only acceptable dad hats back then. Ye style was looked at as wildly different back then. Even though it looks extra normal today. Back then, if you didn't have a 6XL Galaxy tall white tee or a size 56 or 60 authentic jersey or throwback that was so long it damn near touched your knees as everyday wear, you were looked at as soft or weird. Back then, everybody was trying too hard to be gangsta all the time just like today. Ye made it cool to be yourself.

@@scocity6723 You forgot to add Starter & New Era flex-brim snapbacks, those used to be very popular. In the Southside, tons of guys were still wearing those with a white face-towel towel or a du-rag underneath. Flat-brim fitted caps didn't start getting popular until 2005 when the Franchize Boyz arrived. Hip Hop fashion started changing in the Late 00's, and by 2013, all the kids were wearing skinny jeans and doing the hipster look like The New Boyz. 2013 was also the beginning of BLM and 'the natural hair movement', and 360 waves went out of style. The 2010's to the present is pretty much a rehash of the 1970's black power era now that everything is about race and politics since Trayvon Martin's death.
