O1 KMK 700 extraem Ive owned more Kaw 500 400 triples RD 350 and one gt 550 suzuki Tons of Big jap 4 two smokers yz 490 kx 500 cr 250 a fact i rode my 94.gxsr 750 to talk to the ex. I threw in it a 01 1200 bandit s motor in it. Its 150 mph low buck street fighter. Do love the smokers. Banshee bike state mental hospital approved brapppl,,!.

Better to just upgrade a banshee with suspension. Unless you are sub 100lbs. The blaster is probably too small

Yamaha built this in a bike it was a RD 350 one was a Kenny Roberts special. The banshee motor actually came from the RD 350.

Hey, 27 years ago my 250 Tecate and Yamaha RD350 (2 stroke) got married, made extended swing arm also. Bought chambers from Dennis Kirk, ran along outside of extended foot pegs. Was fast though, running up and down Rainey river on the Canadian border. 80+mph

@@rabbithomesteading3797 No no no. The snowbike kit is beltdrive. Some snowbike kits are chain drive some are belt drive. Belt drive is always the way to go with the snow kits. They all have a chain off the countershaft that goes "into the snow kit" then has to go through a series of "pullies/sprokets" I guess is the way to explain it. But the ones that convert to a belt free up so much power and are much much lighter. They are always more expensive kits but its 10000% worth it.

Worst part it is that yamaha did in fact make that bike just never sent it to america. Well not quite but pretty close. Look up a TDR250. Had the motor from the TXR250 so pretty much a 250cc banshee motor but these bikes had power valves. Such a shame we got the shaft on that bike.

Man I'm jealous wow what a machine... It was in a motorcycle at one point, but on that the exhaust goes under neath but in a dirt bike. Honestly, that exhaust set up from the banshee you work perfectly because it's high up. It's actually kind of badass and works better than you expect it too dammm

Another excellent vid, thanks guys! As for why Yamaha never built anything like this, well they kind of did in the form of the TDR250 which was sold all over Europe. TZR250 parallel twin engine (which made as much power as a stock RZ350 engine with 100cc less) in a Supermoto chassis with a 320mm front disc rotor and 4-piston caliper, upswept pipes and a half fairing. These are well known for being great fun, I know of one guy in LA who imported one but apart from that they were never sold in the US. I want to see how bad ass the xl600 engine would rip in a banshee! Actually maybe not that quad was way outdated for years in suspension design. In 2000 I bought brand new stock 400ex that could keep up with banshees but they would out run me top end and also pissed a 250l quadracer off when I beat him. Idk maybe top end he could beat me never checked but that xr400 engine honda put in the 250r frame but camed for torque was a beast up to idk 50 maybe 55 mph before it slowed. IDK That is a cool build though with that banshee engine! Looks like a scary blast of fun! :D
