I just bought a '79 gl1000 with 31000 miles last August. I jumped on it and took it 1500 trouble free miles round trip. Runs great. Love these old goldwings. Thanks for showing yours.

I never miss Kapp! He has as good or great selection ant where! Like he said,,these like these,,,are all but gone! If I ever purchased a bike over time I would feel very safe to buy from Kaplan. God bless our citizens and all her free countries who are our Allie’s.

I have the identical GL 1000 but a 1978 model same color with 6,800 miles from new.
I was stationed in Japan in 1979. Domestic bikes over 750 cc were exported only. Military guys would buy them. They were in crates. You had to assemble them. Guys on base would drive to the manufacturer and pick them up.

Hi, I,m helping a friend out with a 1980 honda GL1100 project bike. Sitting on the bike could someone tell me where the left and right hand coil wires go to which cylinders.Does the left coil come down to cylinders 2 and 4 left and righthand coil 1 and 3 on the right. pretty much confused as the coils are not numbered.........HELP
