Didn't these originally come with a low level chrome front mudguard?

I have not seen one of these since I was 13 years old in 1973 looking at one in Lemon Grove California at the local Suzuki dealership. That bike was a few hundred dollars above my “ Lawnmowing savings fund” that I had saved up along with my newspaper route tip jar savings . I went across the street to “ Lucky’s Yamaha” & got my 60cc Mini Enduro JT-1 instead . Plus my somewhat small physique at that time prevented both my feet from being able to reach the ground on that Suzuki verses that little Yamaha at that time ( I’ve since grown a bit 😎) and my Mom & Dad were sure that extra “40cc “ we’re gonna kill me….. Great time capsule of a Classic from my youth here Kap 👍. Thanks for sharing & bringing back some fond memories as usual.

My first motorcycle (after owning minibikes) was a 1971 TS90 Honcho (5-speed, not the 4x4). Being my first real motorcycle, I had nothing to compare it to. It would run 65mph on level ground. I did not realize at the time how great of a motorcycle it was. I wish I had it today. I would change the wheels to 14/17 or 16/19 knobby combo, and it would easily be competitive with today's 125 trail bikes. That rotary-valve motor had a lot of power for its size. A little tweaking on the suspension and sprockets and you would have an awesome machine. Ride often and god bless.

This was my first bike (in yellow) 46 years ago. Mine had come off a farm and had a leather strap for a front mud guard and a giant sprocket on the back, it was pretty rough but got it all put back to original at the local Suzuki dealer. Was a great first bike and did me and then my younger brothers. Memories.... Cheers from New Zealand.

When I was a teen my cousin had the 125 with the dual range transmission. I had the 63 Honda 250 Scrambler, ya the 125 left me behind, but we had fun.

That's my bike's cousin. I have a '73 TC100 that runs like a top. Goofy little bikes; when you hit the power band they suddenly have a little guts.

I had a 1973 suzuki ts100. It was yellow not silver. Did not have a rack. Google 1973 pics. Could be a tc100
