If there is one thing unique of the mountains, it is the unspoiled nature, the wild, the deprivation of luxury that we are so used to. These guys spoil that love and feeling for everybody who passes there in search for that experience of remoteness. i was just hoping they invited her in for a rest first, LoL!! 😊 or after they went to the water spring, a cup of ice cold water? that could have helped her more easily ration water and other drinks she already had with her.. although 2 hours to get up there would commonly mean it would take a bit less time to get back *down* the mountain. 👍🙂

It’s a lot faster hiking down a mountain. Probably took her 45 minutes to 1hr walk. Something we should all be doing everyday anyway.

unfortunately, it isn't. The hut has been built by a swiss company for running shoes and they use it for PR reasons and you could win a over night stay in the hut. But this autumn, they will remove it, because they don't want to get into the tourism business =(
