We took a road trip from Nashville to Myrtle Beach, SC to visit our friends Heath and Alyssa! They live in an RV and travel around the country full-time. We spent the day working, playing on the beach, and eating :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

You guys we live in Cocoa Beach, FL. We used to swim in the ocean tons. But we started hearing about how many sharks there are, backed by the times I've flown around FL and seen the sharks swimming just feet from people, plus all the bites that happen here........we don't swim in the ocean anymore. I do love walking up to my ankles along the beach still, love that!

I was at the beach in Myrtle Beach one time when a 8ish-year old kid got bit by a shark in knee deep water! Myrtle Beach has quite a lot of shark activity. For what it's worth though, the attacks there are never fatal :)

I cant seem to find a virginia video...did you all go there yet? if not you gotta check out busch gardens and colonial williamsburg. also theres chincategue island on the eastern shore. where the horses also run free and you can watch them cross water 2. You will notice that ALL toilets (be it in the house or hotels) do not need key for opening. All comes with the "slot" for you to use a coin to open. Reason being in case of emergency where the door needs to be open from outside.

Without the buildings, Myrtle Beach would be nice, however like this, it's just like any other municipal beach across the US. I'm not impressed...

I was a little let down with most of the downtown/beach area of Myrtle as well. So crowded and not incredibly nice. But the state park beach is a bit more protected -- which we really enjoyed.
