Excellent video! We love the Boardwalk area. They have some cool shops, attractions, bars and restaurants. I had no idea that Alabama had residency at Duffy's. Pier 14 has a pretty good fish reuben sandwich. Art Burger and Sushi is also pretty good. We've never been to that Fun Spot, but parked right behind it on our last trip. Gay Dolphin sort of reminds me of the Mountain Mall in Gatlinburg.

Hi Alice & Jack!! I love your vlogs. They’re so well edited and informative! The 1940’s gift shop, The Gay Dolphin, looks like a fun must-stop! Beautiful shoreline. Rebuilt w recycled milk jugs - now that’s smart! That’s a very tall gondola observation wheel!!🎠🎡 (Reason we did not ride: Rhymes w palace) heehee😂👍🏼 The pier is very pretty. I enjoyed zip-lining in Jamaica and would so zip line again. Nice you could see where Alabama got their start. 🎵 I love Dolly Parton. So lucky you’ve been to Pigeon Forge. The pirate show looks great! The hearty meal too!! It reminds me of Medieval Times in Southern California. Thanks for the share!!! Happy Trails!💫🌹❤️🥰

Myrtle Beach is a popular beach area.. glad you guys got to go and took us with you! I'd love to visit their boardwalk. They've got a lot of nice souvenir shops there. Lots of fun attractions too! We have not spent much time in South Carolina, but when we do, Myrtle Beach is on the list of must sees. Bills brother and his family used to go all the time.

The boardwalk was built in 2010 and redone with the composite boards in 2022

Myrtle Beach looked great and so good that they have volleyball nets there and that you can hire beach brolleys and other things. Looks quite packed . The Gay dolphin looked massive with so much to buy ! The boardwalk is great that its been built with recycled milk jugs. Loved the sky wheel but it seemed a bit expensive. Pier 14 resturant looked so nice and it seems like this place caters for all ages. Good that they have live music through the summer in that bar ( Bower) and the meal with the pirate show seemed fabulous. I would love that. Such a great place 👍~ Anna

Myrtle Beach really was wonderful! We had so much fun relaxing in the sand and playing in the water. And the restaurants and shops in the area were all great. Thanks for watching!

South Carolina is still a state we have to visit as a Family. Haven’t been to this area since I was a kid. But with all these tourist attractions, this would be perfect for our family! But Rosalie and Addison would look forward to the gift shops. We need some beach in our life.

The only time I visited Myrtle Beach was over our spring break in March 1997, and it was very quiet and empty, so I'm guessing it's really more of a summer destination.

It really does look like an adorable beach town. I've never been to South Carolina, but it's not far from us now that we live in Florida and would probably take a trip there soon. I think this area seems so cute. Not just the beach, but the boardwalk especially. I used to love a Ferris Wheel, but I'm too afraid to go on them now. I do not know why. Just one day I went to get on one and couldn't do it. It's nice to know you can rent a pole and fish off the pier if you wanted to. I'm not sure I'd go to a place that advertised bad food and bad service. lol But, it's cool to go where Alabama played. There seems to be so many great places to visit while there, it looks fun. I have not been to Myrtle since I was a child. How does it compare to OBX? We are visiting Atlantic Beach next month. Never been there either. I would love to visit the gay dolphin. Looks like a great place to pick up some great souvenirs.
